Have you checked for suction at the end of the Hose?
No > You’ll want to follow the complete list of steps before continuing > Go to No Suction
Yes > Remove & empty Dirt Tank
- Release the Separator by twisting to the left to disconnect & remove
- Remove all Filters
- Open the Tank Lid > Lift the release latch on the front
- Remove Filter > Reattach Tank Lid
- Select models (1797, 2190 & 2692) have Post Motor filters
- This Filter is located below the Dirt Tank > Remove Filter
- Reattach Dirt Tank to machine (without Separator and Filters)
- NOTE: This is for testing purposes only (machine should not be used without all Filters installed)
- Turn on > Check for suction at the end of the Hose
- Is there suction?
- Yes > Go to Cleaning Filters
- No > Visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
- Is there suction?
