Read and understand these instructions before attempting any operation of this parking post and retain for future reference
INTENTION FOR USE
Thank you for purchasing the Streetwize Buired Folding Parking Post. This product is intended for use as a visual deterrent and protects your vehicle against theft. This parking post can be used to protect vehicles on driveways, car parks and caravan & motorhome parks.
This parking post can be placed in both hard and soft ground.

INSTALLING INTO SOFT GROUND
Requirements
- Shovel (or other digging equipment or tool)
- Fast drying concrete
- Stone
- Steel trowel
- Spirit Level
INSTRUCTIONS
- With your shovel, dig a hole into the ground where you want to install the parking
post. When digging, ensure your hole is wide enough for the post and deep
enough for the spigot base (approx. 200mm). Ensure the locking base is
between 2 to 5mm above ground. - Use the stone to lay a foundation of around 20mm.
- Set the spigot-base into the foundation.
- Use the spirit level to check for vertical alignment.
- Pour more stone into the base until 40mm below surface. Recheck vertical alignment.
- Prepare the fast drying concrete.
- Pour the concrete upto 5 mm below the locking base.
- Use the trowel and some of the remaining unused concrete for finishing.

Requirements
- Pneumatic Drill
- Shovel (or other digging equipment or tool)
- Fast drying concrete
- Stone
- Steel trowel
- Spirit Level
Instructions
- For hard ground, use a Pneumatic Drill to dig a hole. Ensure your hole is wide enough for the post and deep
enough for the spigot base (approx. 200mm). Ensure the locking base is between 2 to 5mm above ground. - Use the stone to lay a foundation of around 20mm.
- Set the spigot-base into the foundation.
- Use the spirit level to check for vertical alignment.
- Pour more stone into the base until 40mm below surface. Recheck vertical alignment.
- Prepare the fast drying concrete.
- Pour the concrete upto 5 mm below the locking base.
- Use the trowel and some of the remaining unused concrete for finishing.
Locking/Unlocking the Parking Post
When the parking post is ready to use, lift into position and align all the holes towards the base of the post. Open the padlock by turning the key clockwise. Place through all the holes (Fig 1) and turn the key anti-clockwise to lock the padlock on the parking post. *Please take care of your keys as replacement keys are not available for security reasons.
Health and Safety
- Please wear protective equipment, including gloves and eye protection when installing the parking post.
- If you are kneeling on hard ground, we advise that you wear knee pads.
- When lifting rubble or other heavy object, please use correct procedure to prevent risk of injury
- When using the jackhammer, wear the correct protective equipment
