How do I treat the wood?
We recommend using a light beeswax on the wood every three to six months
How will the wood react to liquid stains?
The reclaimed wood is a little porous in nature. As such a wet stain may show up as a dark patch on the table’s surface. Not to worry as it will evaporate and eventually disappear (within 24-48 hours). The surface of the table is rich with character, as such most stains are barely noticeable.
How is the wood treated?
All our reclaimed wood is lightly wire brushed to smoothen out splinters. The wood itself is unfinished. The salvaged wood bears a timeworn patina and includes distinctive nicks, splits, cracks, knots and imperfections that speak of the wood’s 3ge and provenance
