Product Information

The Polaris Pro Low-Profile Video Camera Dolly is a versatile
and durable camera dolly designed for professional videographers.
It features eight in-line skate wheels that run smoothly on
circular, triangular, and square-speed rails and flat surfaces. The
dolly has a Low-Profile Middle Support that can be mounted onto a
C-stand to provide additional stability. The Polaris Pro Camera
Dolly is compatible with fluid heads and gimbals and can be easily
assembled with end spacers and clamp holders. The dolly also has a
Mitchell platform with four-keyway locating slots and multiple
1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes to mount varied accessory
conjunctions.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Inspect the contents of the shipped package to ensure you have
    received everything listed in the box.
  2. Loosen the knob of the end spacers and mount them on the light
    stand. Tighten the knobs properly. Repeat the process for the
    second end spacer. Loosen both the knobs of the clamp holder in the
    end spacers. Insert the square speed rails into the clamp holder
    and tighten the knob to secure the assembly. Place the Polaris Pro
    dolly onto the Square Speed rails ensuring all wheels are aligned
    correctly on the track.
  3. Loosen the knob of the Low-Profile Middle Support and mount it
    onto the C-stand. Properly secure it by re-tightening the knob.
    Align the center part and attach it to the center support of the
    track. Align and place the Polaris Pro dolly onto the Square Speed
    Rails.
  4. Remove the fluid head by loosening the locking knob and then
    insert it into the center bowl adapter of the Polaris Pro Dolly.
    Tighten the assembly from the bottom of the Polaris Pro dolly using
    the locking knob of the fluid head. Remove the plate by pushing the
    pin of the fluid head.
  5. Attach the plate of the fluid head to the bottom of the camera
    and then tighten it using a screwdriver. Mount the camera onto the
    fluid head by sliding it. Secure the assembly with the help of the
    locking knob of the fluid head. Align and place the wheels of the
    Polaris Pro Dolly onto the speed rail track.
  6. Loosen and remove the Low-Profile knob of the Polaris Pro
    dolly. Align and mount the Spinhawk to the center bowl of the
    Polaris Pro dolly. Secure and tighten the assembly using the
    Low-Profile knob at the bottom of the dolly.

Assembling of End Spacers
Loosen the knob of the end spacers of the Polaris pro camera dolly and mount it on the light stand (Not Included).
NOTE: It comes with end-spacers that mount on C-stands & tripods in seconds, allowing you to start filming in a flash.
After mounting the end spacers on the stand, properly tighten it with the knob. Repeat the same process to insert the second-end spacer.
Loosen both the knobs of the clamp holder in the end spacers, as shown in the image.
After inserting the square speed rails (Not Included) into the clamp holder, tighten the knob of the clamp holder to secure the assembly.
NOTE: The dolly has eight in-line skate wheels that run smoothly on circular, triangular, and square-speed rails and flat surfaces.
Polaris Pro Camera Dolly Setup
Now place the Polaris Pro dolly onto the Square Speed rails (Not Included). Make sure all wheels are aligned correctly on the track and dolly runs smoothly.

After loosening the knob of the Low-Profile Middle Support, mount it onto the C-stand (Not Included).
Now, after mounting the Low-Profile Middle Support, properly secure it by re-tightening the knob. Then align the center part and attach it to the center support of the track.
Align and place the Polaris Pro dolly onto the Square Speed Rails (Not Included).
Assembling of Fluid Head
Remove the fluid head (Not Included) by loosening the locking knob and then insert it into the canter bowl adapter of the Polaris Pro Dolly.
Tighten the assembly from the bottom of the Polaris Pro dolly using the locking knob of the fluid head (Not Included).
Remove the plate by pushing the pin of the fluid head (Not Included), as shown in the image.

Camera Mounting Setup
Attach the plate of the fluid head (Not Included) to the bottom of the camera (Not Included), and then tighten it using the screw driver.
Fluid head (Not Included) plate has now been properly attached to the camera (Not Included).
Now mount the camera (Not Included) onto the fluid head (Not Included) by sliding.
Secure the assembly with the help of the locking knob of the fluid head.
Assembling of Speed rail track
Align and place the wheels of the Polaris Pro Dolly onto the speed rail track (Not Included).

Loosen and remove the Low-Profile knob of the Polaris Pro dolly.
Align and mount the Spinhawk (Not Included) to the center bowl of the Polaris Pro dolly, as shown in the image.
Secure and tighten the assembly using the Low-Profile knob at the bottom of the dolly.
NOTE: Mount your fluid head/gimbal/camera setups directly to the Mitchell platform with the help of the four-keyway locating slots without sacrificing stability. Multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes on the dolly platform allow you to mount varied accessory conjunctions.
