DT-612 Digital Thermometer
Product Information
The CEM DT-612 Digital Thermometer is a portable, compact-sized
thermometer that uses external K-type thermocouples as temperature
sensors. The temperature indication follows National Bureau of
Standards and IEC584 temperature/voltage tables for K-type
thermocouples. The thermometer comes with two K-type
thermocouples.
- User Selectable Temperature Scales
- User Selectable Resolution
- Dual Thermocouple input
- Wide variety of interchangeable thermocouple probes
- Max Hold / Data Hold
- Differential Temperature (T1-T2)
- SCAN Function (T1, T2, T1-T2, MAX. HOLD … )
- Backlit LCD Display
Product Usage Instructions
- Insert a standard 9V battery (NEDA 1604, IEC 6F22) into the
thermometer. - Connect the K-type thermocouple(s) to the input connector(s) on
the thermometer. The input connector accepts standard miniature
thermocouple connectors with flat blades spaced 7.9mm, center to
center. - Turn on the thermometer by pressing the power button.
- Select the desired temperature scale and resolution using the
user-selectable options. - To measure temperature, place the thermocouple probe(s) in the
desired location. The thermometer will display the current
temperature reading on the backlit LCD display. - Use the Max Hold / Data Hold function to freeze the current
reading on the display or to save a reading to memory. - Use the Differential Temperature function to display the
temperature difference between two thermocouples (T1-T2). - Use the SCAN function to cycle through different display
options, including T1, T2, T1-T2, and MAX. HOLD. - When finished using the thermometer, turn it off and store it
with the supplied accessories (battery, holster with stand, K type
bead probe, carrying case, and instruction manual).
