REM1 SMD LED Video Panel

Product Information

The REM1 and REM1SQ are electrical devices designed for
installation, use, and maintenance. They comply with Part 15 Part B
of the FCC rules and are subject to certain restrictions on the use
of substances in electrical and electronic equipment within the
EU.

Product Usage Instructions

Safety Notes

Before using the REM1 and REM1SQ, read the Safety Notes provided
in the user manual. These notes contain important information about
installation, use, and maintenance of the product.

Power Disconnection

To improve the lifespan of the product and prevent unnecessary
wear, it is recommended to completely disconnect the product from
power during periods of non-use. This can be done by switching off
the breaker or unplugging the product.

Power Linking

The REM1 and REM1SQ products can be power linked. Refer to the
table below for the current draw at different voltages and
frequencies:

Note: Do not exceed 12 A on a single circuit when power linking.
Power-linking cables can be purchased separately.

Mounting

Prior to mounting the REM1 and REM1SQ, ensure you have read the
Safety Notes. Use rig bars (REM-RB50CMIP or REM-RB100CMIP) from
Chauvet or the M10 threaded mounting holes on the product. Make
sure the mounting devices are capable of supporting the weight of

These Safety Notes include important information about installation, use, and maintenance of the REM 1 and REM 1SQ.
· CAUTION: · This product’s housing may be hot when operating. Mount this product in a location with adequate ventilation, at least 20 in (50 cm) from adjacent surfaces. · When transferring the product from extreme temperature environments, (e.g., cold truck to warm humid ballroom) condensation may form on the internal electronics of the product. To avoid causing a failure, allow the product to fully acclimate to the surrounding environment before connecting it to power.
· ALWAYS: · Use a safety cable when mounting this product overhead. · Connect this product to a grounded and protected circuit.
· DO NOT: · Open this product. It contains no user-serviceable parts. · Leave any flammable material within 50 cm of this product while operating or connected to power. · Connect this product to a dimmer or rheostat. · Operate this product if the housing, lenses, or cables appear damaged. · Operate this product outdoors or in any location where dust, excessive heat, water, or humidity may affect it (IP30). · Operate this product at an altitude exceeding 5000m.
· ONLY use the hanging/mounting bracket to carry this product. · The minimum startup temperature is -4°F (-20°C). Do not start the product at lower temperatures. · The maximum ambient temperature is 95°F (35 °C). Do not operate this product at higher temperatures. · To eliminate unnecessary wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of non-use completely disconnect the
product from power via breaker or by unplugging it. · In the event of a serious operating problem, stop using immediately.
