Safety Tips
- Position on a flat, stable surface.
- A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not remove any components on this product.
- Consult Local and National Standards to comply with the following:
– Health and Safety at Work Legislation
– BS EN Codes of Practice
– Fire Precautions
– IEE Wiring Regulations
– Building Regulations - Caution! Hot surface!
- The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
- DO NOT immerse the appliance in water.
- Do not clean with jet/pressure washers.
- Do not move or carry the appliance when it is switched on.
- DO NOT leave the appliance unattended during operation.
- DO NOT obstruct or cover the appliance in any way when in use.
- The appliance should not come into contact or be covered with easily flammable materials, like curtains, textiles, walls and the like. Always ensure sufficient safety distance to flammable materials.
- Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance when not in use.
- Not suitable for outdoor use.
- Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance to the regulations of local authorities.
- DO NOT use if damaged.
- Buffalo recommend that this product is connected to a circuit protected by an appropriate RCD (Residual Current Device).
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a Buffalo agent or a recommended qualified technician in order to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Buffalo recommend that this appliance should be periodically tested (at least annually) by a Competent Person. Testing should include, but not be limited to: Visual Inspection, Polarity Test, Earth Continuity, Insulation Continuity and Functional Testing.
- Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They could pose a safety risk to the user and might damage the appliance. Only use original parts and accessories.
Introduction

Buffalo prides itself on quality and service, ensuring that at the time of packaging the contents are supplied fully functional and free of damage.
Should you find any damage as a result of transit, please contact your Buffalo dealer immediately.
Installation
- Remove the appliance from the packaging. Make sure that all protective plastic film and coatings are thoroughly removed from all surfaces.
- Maintain a distance of 20cm (7 inches) between the unit and walls or other objects for ventilation.
Mounting the air pipe and brushes
Air pipe:
- Mount the air pipe onto the base. Rotate until its hole is aligned with the hole on the base.
- Tighten the air pipe with the screw provided.


Brushes:
- Mount the brush onto the shaft.
- Rotate the brush anti-clockwise to let the pin on the shaft get locked into the brush’s notch.


Note:

• Among the 5 brushes, ensure to mount the short one onto the centre shaft.
• During operation, hot air will come out from the air pipe slot to keep brushes dry so as to maintain a good polishing effect. It is essential to always keep the brushes dry; wet brushes do not dry or polish the glass. During intensive use, if the brushes become damp, run the appliance without glass for 20 minutes to allow the hot air to dry the brushes.
Operation

- Connect the appliance to the mains power supply.
- Switch the appliance on (I position).
- Hold the glass by the base and place over the centre brush to start drying and polishing.
- For better polishing effect, you can slightly spin the glass left or right while holding it.
- After use, ensure that the appliance is switched off (O position).
Automatic overheating protection
This appliance features automatic overheating protection. Should the appliance overheat, the appliance will shut off automatically. Please allow the appliance 20 minutes to cool down before resuming operation.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
- Switch off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Allow to cool down before cleaning.
- Clean the external surface daily using a damp cloth. Always wipe dry after cleaning.
- When closing for the day, operate the appliance for 20 minutes to dry the brushes. This will also ensure efficiency for next working cycle.
- If maintained, the brushes will provide consistent results. Please periodically check the brushes for wear and aging, and replace as necessary. Worn brushes will provide variable results.

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin BS1363 plug and lead.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
- Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
- Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
- Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E

This appliance must be earthed.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency disconnection being required they must be readily accessible.
