256818 AC TrueTone Effect Pedal for Electric Guitar
Product Information
The AC TrueTone is a sound processing device designed for use
with musical instruments that have electromagnetic pickups. It
features various controls and connections to adjust the frequency
response, distortion, and output level of the instrument’s sound.
The device can be powered either by an external power supply or by
batteries.
Important safety instructions should be followed to ensure
proper and safe operation of the product. The device should only be
used for its intended purpose, and any other use may result in
personal injury or property damage. It is essential to keep the
device away from children to prevent choking hazards and to dispose
of plastic bags and packaging properly.
When using the device with an external power supply, it is
crucial to match the input voltage with the voltage rating of the
device and ensure the AC outlet is protected by a residual current
circuit breaker. Failure to do so may lead to damage to the device
and potential harm to the user. Additionally, precautions should be
taken during electrical storms or when the device is not in use for
an extended period.
Inserting batteries correctly is essential to avoid damage to
the device or batteries. Leaking batteries can cause permanent
damage, so it is recommended to remove them if the device will not
be used for a longer period.
Product Usage Instructions
- Connect your instrument to the device using a 1/4 jack cable
into the “IN” jack socket. - If using batteries, ensure proper polarity when inserting them
into the device. - If using an external power supply, connect it to the “DC 9V”
socket on the device. - Adjust the various controls to customize your sound:
- Use the “LOW” control to set the low frequencies.
- Use the “MID” control to set the mid frequencies.
- Use the “HIGH” control to set the high frequencies.
- Use the “LEVEL” control to set the output level.
- Use the “VOICE” control in combination with the “DRIVE” control
to simulate different amplifier sounds.
- The LED indicator will light up when the effects pedal is
active. If the LED is off or dim, it indicates that the battery
needs to be replaced. - Connect the device to an amplifier using a 1/4 jack cable into
the “OUT” jack socket. - To enable or disable the pedal function, use the “TRUE BYPASS”
foot switch.
