The TDX SP & SI Guard Bracket is a component designed to
provide additional support and stability to the wheelchair. It is
installed on top of the base of the wheelchair and secures the
guard in between the base and the seat frame bracket.
This guard bracket is made of durable metal and comes with four
bolts for secure attachment. It is compatible with TDX SP and TDX
SI wheelchair models.
Product Usage Instructions
- Place the guard bracket on top of the base of the wheelchair,
ensuring that part of the guard fits between the base and the seat
frame bracket. Refer to the example photos for visual
guidance. - Take the two smaller rectangular pieces of metal and use them
to secure the guard bracket to the wheelchair. One bolt should be
inserted inside the tie-down loop, and the other bolt should be
positioned outside the tie-down loop towards the rear of the chair.
Follow the example photos for reference. - Tighten all four bolts using two 1/2 wrenches. Ensure that
everything is adjusted correctly by referring to the example photos
before fully tightening.

1. The first thing that you will need to do is set the guard bracket on top of the base of the
wheelchair and as you can see in the example photos part of the guard will go in between the base of the wheelchair and the seat frame bracket.
2. In the second step you will need to use the two smaller rectangular pieces of metal to
secure the guard bracket to the wheelchair, as you can see in the example photos one bolts will be going inside the tie down loop and the other bolt will be outside of the tie down loop more towards the rear of the chair.
3. Lastly, we need to tighten the four bolts, you will need two 1/2″ wrenches to do this.
Refer to these example photos before you tighten everything down to make sure everything is adjusted correctly.
