6 Foot Swan Wooden Garden Bridge

Product Information:

The SamsGazebosR garden bridge is a handcrafted product made in
the USA. It comes with the following components:

The product also includes hardware for assembly:

  • 4 lag bolts
  • 2 large screws
  • 3 medium screws
  • 36 small screws

The bridge kit is custom built with pilot holes for easy
assembly. The assembly time is estimated to be 45 minutes using a
cordless screwdriver. It is recommended to work on a clean and
level floor for the best results.

Product Usage Instructions:

  1. Remove the wrapping material and lay out all the parts before
    starting the assembly.
  2. Make sure you have the following tools ready:
  • Cordless Screw Driver or Screw Driver(+)
  • Socket Wrench
  • Hammer
  • Knife
  • Work Gloves (optional)
  • Start assembling the rails and end frames, matching the numbers
    for optimal results. CAUTION: Do not fasten the
    bolts too tightly to avoid damaging the post, rail, or
    end-frame.
  • Fasten the rail and end frame with a lag bolt, ensuring they
    are flush.
  • Put the small floor joist in place by sliding it in from the
    bottom. If the fit is tight, pull the rail up.
  • Hammer the small floor joist from the bottom, making sure both
    ends are flush with the groove for the floor boards to slide
    in.
  • Fasten the small floor joist with a large screw on both
    sides.
  • Set the end frame and large floor joist flush.
  • Put the large floor joist in place and fasten it with a medium
    screw on both sides.
  • Turn over the bridge and fasten the large floor joist and end
    floor boards with small screws.
  • Check if the tongue and groove of each floor board properly fit
    before fastening the end floor board.
  • Turn over the end floor board and tighten the fit with screws
    towards the rails.
  • Fasten the end floor boards and remaining floor boards with
    small screws.

    Assembling this bridge kit may take 45 minutes with a cordless screw driver. Please work on a clean level floor for the best result. Remove the wrapping material, prepare the tools, and lay out the parts before assembling the bridge in order to save you time and effort. Each kit is custom built with pilot holes for your convenience.

    This product is treated with oil-based semitransparent wood preservative. The color is not permanent, will show shade of green from the wood preservative and turn to light brown over time. The smell of this chemical will be less noticeable in a couple of weeks. For a permanent finish, we recommend a solid deck stain after assembly. For residential use only. Maximum weight capacity is 200 lb. à Please wash your hands after handling. à Keep out of reach of children. à Do not chew or swallow hardware.

    End Frame

    Rail

    1. Start assembling the rails and end frames.

    2. Match the number for the optimal results.

    CAUTION: Do NOT fasten the bolt too tightly; The lag bolt could cave in and damage the post, rail, or end-frame.
    3. Fasten the rail and end frame with a lag bolt.

    4. Be sure to set the end of the rail and end frame flush (See “X”). Do the same on three other sides.

    5. Put the small floor joist. Match the number.

    6. This is an alternative way to do step 5; it may be easier 2 to put the small floor joist on side way.

    7. Slide in the small floor joist from the bottom. Match the number.

    8. Pull the rail up if the fit is tight.

    9. Hammer the small floor joist from the bottom.

    10. Be sure to set the both end of the small floor joist flush to the bottom of the groove for the floor boards to slide in.

    11. Fasten the small floor joist with a large screw.

    12. Do the same on the other side. Be sure to set the both end of the small floor joist flush with the groove for the
    3 floor boards. (See 10.)

    Set the end frame and large floor joist flush.

    13. Put the large floor joist. Match the number.

    14 . Fasten the large floor joist and the end frame with a medium screw. Do the same on the other side
    Match the number and turn it over to fasten it with small screws. (See 20)

    15. Fasten the floor joists with a medium screw.

    16. Find the end floor board with ears.
    *IMPORTANT* Always connect tongue (male) into groove (female).

    17. Go to the other end. Check the tongue or groove of the end floor board just fastened and slide in floor boards one 4 at a time.

    18. Put the end floor board with matching number.

    Check if the tongue and groove of each floor
    board properly fit before fastening the end floor board.

    19. Turn over the end floor board and tighten the fit.

    connectors from your local Home Depot or lumber yard. · For best and long-lasting results, support the bridge from underneath each post. · For a residential use only.

    RECOMMENDEDÊFINISHES
    This product is treated with oil-based semi-transparent brown wood preservative. The color of the wood preservative is not permanent, will show trace of green from Copper, and turn to light
    brown over time. The wood preservative, Copper-Green BROWN is available at your local Home Depot for a darker, rustic look.
    Finishing with a deck stain is highly recommended; it is a matt finish but a first coat serves as a primer, and will look same for 5 to 10 years. Behr brand solid deck stain is available at Home
    Depot.
    Please finish the bridge after assembly; the tongues and grooves of the floor boards may not properly fit otherwise.
