- Unplug machine
- Slide Lock ‘n Seal Lever to unlock position
- Grasp dirt container and pull outwards
- Lift filter cup
- Do not pull circular foam filter out while it is still in the machine
- Grasp plastic tab on the top of the circular foam filters and twist to unlock
- Separate outer foam filter from inner pleated circular filter
- Wash each individually by hand in warm water
- Rinse well and let filters completely air dry (24-48 hours) before replacing
- Wash filter cup in warm water
- Completely air dry before reassembling with filters (DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER)
- Reach underneath upper tank and turn the rim of the cyclone assembly to the left to unlock
- Wash cyclone assembly with warm water and completely air dry before returning to upper tank
- The upper tank can be wiped with damp cloth
- Open filter door on side of machine to access post-motor filter
- Filter is NOT washable and must be replaced when dirty
- Detach hose from machine by twisting to the left to unlock and pull out from lower hose
- Push a broomstick through the hose to clear any clogs
- If hose is cracked or damaged, a replacement hose will need to be ordered
- Remove the screw from the left side of lower hose on back of machine
- Pull hose down to straighten
- Push a broomstick through hose to clear any clogs
- Recline handle to floor and roll vacuum over so brush is facing up
- Remove five screws (3 in front and 2 behind brush) and lift brush cover off
- Grasp brush at both ends and lift out
- Clean off any debris on the brush, motor pulley, and drive belt
- Inspect brush and belt for damage
- Brush should turn easily by hand
- Belt should be intact
- If any part is damaged, a new part needs to be ordered
- Turn machine on with brush and belt uninstalled
- If machine is no longer loud belt and brush should be replaced
