No 7.1 and games zero feel much better when you wear it
Never used the Vive, so I can’t answer that, i fo know it has both the 3.5mm headphone plug, and a 2.5, with a left and right splitter adapter. It comes with all you need to be able to connect to practically anything, it does not come with an amplifier, so it’s plug and play ability leaves me to assume it might work with any VR headset

As long as the dongle itself is still working, you should be able to plug the GSP 600 into it and use it.
Better with the GSX 1000 amp and 600 combo. I replaced my A50’s with these. If you do use an amp, be sure the sound runs through the amp not the headset.
You would need to use the 1.5 m console cable which is provided with the headset.
We do not make extension cables for our headphones, but any well rated manufacturers microphone and headphone extension cables should work. Signal loss will depend on length of the cables, quality of the sockets and the shielding, but below 30′ you should not experience any issues. Hopefully this helps, and have a good afternoon.
No, you need to buy a DAC/Amp (such as the gsx 1000) which has virtual surround, and plug it into that.
