1. Never insert fingers, pencils, or any other object through the guard when the fan is running.
2. Unplug the fan before moving it from one location to another.
3. Make sure the fan is on a stable surface when it is running, to avoid overturning.
4. DO NOT place the fan by an open window, as rain may create an electrical hazard.

1. Assemble the base
   Tip: Line up the two halves of the base centrally so that the tabs overlap each other.
2. Remove the screws
3. Install and secure the base

Power cord storage

1. Press the inner ends of the power cord hooks to open them.
2. Wrap the power cord around the hooks.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Fan operating instructions

Button	Function
	On/off button.
	Press this button to start or stop oscillating mode.
	There are three fan modes: Normal, Sleep and Comfort.
	Press the “+” or “-” button to adjust the fan speed: Normal (settings 1–6), Sleep (settings 1–2), Comfort (settings1–3).
	Press this button to set the shutdown time in the start state or set the start time in the standby state. Touch “+” or “-” button to set the timer.

MAINTENANCE

The fan requires little maintenance. Do not try to fix it yourself. Contact a qualified service technician if service is needed.

1. Unplug the fan before cleaning and assembly.
2. To ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep the vents at the rear of the motor free of dust. Do not disassemble the fan to remove dust.
3. Wipe the exterior parts with a soft cloth moistened with mild detergent.
4. Do not use any abrasive detergent or solvents, to avoid scratching the surface. Do not use any of the following as a cleaner: petrol, thinner or other solvents.
5. Do not allow water or any other liquid into the motor housing or interior parts.

CLEANING

1. Make sure you unplug the fan from the electrical supply before cleaning.
2. Plastic parts should be cleaned with a soft cloth moistened with mild soap
