DECKED AD18BEDMAT Storage System Battle Mat Installation Guide

Installation Instructions

TOOLS NEEDED:

• UTILITY KNIFE
• STRAIGHT EDGE

STEP 1 : CONFIRM BED LENGTH

• If you have a 6’4″ – 6’9″ bed, there is no need to trim the Battle Mat.
• Simply place the mat on top of your DECKED drawer system, center it, and keep on truckin’.

STEP 2: TRIM BED MAT FOR SHORT BEDS 

• The Bed Mat will need to be trimmed for 5’5″ – 5’9″ beds.
• Locate the recessed cutting lines marked on the tailgate end of the Battle Mat.
• Use a SHARP utility knife.
• Don’t be a hero – use at least three gentle but firm passes to cut through the Battle Mat – see detail in red below.
• No waste! You can use the trimmed off piece as a drawer liner.
