NU85 Ultra Low Freezer
Product Information
The freezer is an electrical appliance that is used for storing
frozen food items. It is equipped with safety features to prevent
fire, electric shock, and injury to the user. The unit must be
operated on a dedicated electrical line and must not be modified in
any way. The warranty may be voided if the plug is modified
improperly.

Starting Instructions
Before using the freezer, read all instructions in the manual
and follow basic safety precautions. Do not position the equipment
so it is difficult to disconnect from the power supply. The freezer
must be at least 6 inches away from any wall or object on any side.
The covers on the back or side of the freezer may only be removed
by authorized personnel.
Pre-Installation Information
If the plug provided with the freezer does not fit the outlet,
have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. The unit
must be operated on a dedicated electrical line to prevent startup
failure.
Freezer Storage Procedure
The freezer is designed for storing frozen food items. Follow
the recommended storage temperature to ensure that the food remains
safe for consumption. Changing the setpoint or operation
temperature should only be done by authorized personnel.
Alarm Battery Replacement
The low-battery alarm cannot be silenced or disabled. To reduce
the volume of the alarm until a replacement can be installed, place
a piece of tape over the buzzer hole on the control.
Cleaning Procedure
Disconnect the unit from the power supply before performing any
maintenance. Clean the air condenser and defrost the freezer
regularly to ensure optimal performance. Protect the control from
dripping water by placing a cloth or towel on the leading edge of
the cooling chamber above the control.
Alarm System
The unit is equipped with an alarm system to alert the user of
any potential issues. Do not attempt to repair or replace any part
of the freezer for servicing while under warranty without first
contacting the So-Low Service Department.
Dry Contact Relay
The dry contact relay is used for remote monitoring of the unit.
It should only be installed by authorized personnel.
