The Electronic Cartridge Exchange Indicator is a device used to
track the usage and lifespan of a cartridge in a product. It has a
display that shows the remaining time since the cartridge was
inserted, and it also provides audible signals to alert when the
cartridge needs to be replaced. The indicator is powered by AA
batteries.

Product Usage Instructions
Programming
- Press and hold the DISPLAY button, then press the START/RESET
button briefly at the same time to activate the setting mode. - To switch from 90 days to 360 days, briefly press the DISPLAY
button. - Wait until the time value stops flashing or the DISPLAY
switches off. - To activate the 360-day timer, briefly press DISPLAY and then
press the START/RESET button. A flashing spot in the bottom left of
the display indicates that the timer is active.
Reading the Timer Status
Press the DISPLAY button briefly during operation to activate
the display. The remaining time since the new cartridge was
inserted will be shown in days. If the time is exceeded, it will be
displayed with a minus sign.
Audible Signals
A long signal sounds on the hour every hour as a signal to
replace the cartridge.
Changing the Batteries
- After changing the batteries, a long beep will sound.
- After the beep, briefly press the DISPLAY button to activate
the display. The remaining days since the last reset will be
displayed. - Note: This can only be done within 16 hours after the batteries
are fully depleted. After this time, the device reverts back to the
factory setting and must be reprogrammed.
Resetting
- Press the DISPLAY button briefly to activate the display.
- Press and hold the START/RESET button for 5 seconds until a
long beep sounds. - The last 360 programmed days will appear in the display.
- The timer starts automatically.

Programming
A. Commissioning Please insert the enclosed batteries (2 x AA) into the appropriate compartment of the electronic cartridge exchange indicator with display. A long beep will sound after insertion of the batteries. B. Initial Programming Important: Please set the timer on your product for 360 days. Caution: Please ensure that you activate the electronic BRITA cartridge exchange indicator with display so that the signal can start during the day. Programming: a) Press the DISPLAY button briefly to activate the display. Initially, the default
setting of 90 days is displayed. b) Press and hold the DISPLAY button and then press the START/RESET button
briefly at the same time. This activates the setting mode. c) To switch from 90 days to 360 days, press the DISPLAY button briefly. d) Wait until the time value stops flashing or the DISPLAY switches off. e) To activate the 360-day timer, briefly press DISPLAY and then press the
START/RESET button. f) A flashing spot in the bottom left of the display indicates that the timer is active.

when there are less than 10 days before the end of the programmed 360 day setting (15 double beeps). A shorter reminder (5 double beeps) then sounds every 15 minutes until the next signal. b) Reminder function: press any button to deactivate the signal for 72 hours if you prefer to be reminded to replace the cartridge at a later date. c) Battery signal: when the batteries are depleted, a long signal sounds (15 single beeps) followed by a short reminder signal (5 single beeps) every 15 minutes until the next signal on the hour. d) Switching the device off: this is only possible by removing the batteries from the battery compartment. E. Activating the reset function when replacing the cartridge a) Press the DISPLAY button briefly to activate the display. b) Press and hold the START/RESET button for 5 seconds until a long beep sounds. c) The last 360 programmed days appear in the display. d) The timer starts automatically. F. Installation You can attach the electronic cartridge exchange indicator to an appropriate and dry place by using the supplied hook and loop fastener. We recommend installing it under the sink. Avoid contact with water/splashes!
Changing the batteries in the electronic cartridge exchange indicator
a) After changing the batteries, a long beep sounds. b) After the beep, briefly press the DISPLAY button to activate the display. c) The remaining days since the last reset are now displayed.
(Caution: only possible up to 16 hours after the batteries are fully depleted. After this time, the device reverts back to the factory setting and must be reprogrammed (see point B).

Correct disposal
At the end of the lifetime of the BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indicator it must be disposed of according to the local applicable regulations and statutory requirements. It has to be disposed as electric/electronic waste. The contained batteries must be disposed separately according to local applicable regulations and statutory requirements.
The marking of the crossed-out dust bin on the product, product packaging, accessories and/or the product documentation indicates that the electronic parts such as the Life Time Indicator and batteries should not be disposed of with other household waste. Please dispose of these parts of the product separately. Exhausted batteries, that are not incorporated in the product or which can be removed non-destructively from the product, should be disposed of in your local collection points for batteries. Distributors of electrical or electronic equipment, including food retailers, distance sellers and mail order companies are legally obliged to take back old electronic/ electric equipment free of charge if the distributor exceeds a certain size of sales, storage or shipping area, when buying a new device from the distributor. The same criteria applies it is a small electronic/electric device that does not exceed certain dimensions. Further information and details on these take-back options and obligations can be obtained from the respective distributor. End users, including private users, should contact their public waste management authority to find out where they can return the old electronic/electric devices or exhausted batteries for environmentally friendly disposal. Indicateur de changement de cartouche filtrante
Programmation

D. Signaux sonores a) Signal de remplacement de la cartouche : si le temps restant avant
l’écoulement des 360 jours programmés est inférieur à 10 jours (15 doubles bips), un long signal se déclenche toutes les heures. Un rappel plus court (5 doubles bips) se déclenche ensuite toutes les 15 minutes jusqu’au signal suivant. b) Fonction rappel : si vous préférez retarder le rappel de changement de cartouche, appuyez sur l’un des deux boutons pour désactiver le signal pendant 72 heures. c) Signal piles : quand les piles sont usées, un long signal (15 bips simples), suivi d’un court signal de rappel (5 bips simples), retentit toutes les 15 minutes jusqu’au signal suivant toutes les heures. d) Éteindre l’appareil : possible uniquement en retirant les piles de leur compartiment.
E. Activer la fonction réinitialisation lors du remplacement de la cartouche a) Appuyez brièvement sur le bouton DISPLAY pour activer l’affichage. b) Appuyez longuement (5 secondes) sur le bouton START/RESET jusqu’à ce
que vous entendiez un long bip. c) Les derniers 360 jours programmés s’affichent. d) Le minuteur démarre automatiquement.
F. Installation Vous pouvez fixer l’indicateur électronique de changement de cartouche dans un endroit sec et approprié, à l’aide du crochet et de l’élément de fixation fournis. Nous recommandons de l’installer sous l’évier. Évitez tout contact avec de l’eau / des éclaboussures !
Remplacement des piles de l’indicateur électronique de changement de cartouche
a) Une fois les piles changées, un long bip retentit. b) Après ce bip, appuyez brièvement sur le bouton DISPLAY pour activer
l’affichage. c) Les jours restants depuis la dernière réinitialisation s’affichent.
(Attention : uniquement possible jusqu’à 16 heures après l’épuisement complet des piles. Passé ce délai, l’appareil se réinitialise aux paramètres d’usine et doit être reprogrammé (voir point B).

Mise au rebut appropriée
Lorsqu’il arrive en fin de vie, l’indicateur électronique de changement de cartouche BRITA doit être mis au rebut conformément aux directives et réglementations locales en vigueur. Il doit être mis au rebut avec les déchets électroniques / électriques. Les piles doivent être mises au rebut séparément, conformément aux lois et réglementations locales en vigueur.

Anfangs wird die Standardeinstellung 90 Tage angezeigt. b) Halten Sie die DISPLAY-Taste gedrückt und drücken Sie dann gleichzeitig
kurz auf die START-/RESET-Taste. Dadurch wird der Einstellmodus aktiviert. c) Um von 90 auf 360 Tage umzustellen, drücken Sie kurz auf die DISPLAY-Taste. d) Warten Sie, bis der Zeitwert aufhört zu blinken oder bis das DISPLAY sich
ausschaltet. e) Um den 360-Tage-Timer zu aktivieren, drücken Sie kurz auf DISPLAY und
drücken Sie dann die START-/RESET-Taste. f) Ein blinkender Punkt unten links auf dem Display zeigt an, dass der Timer
aktiv ist.
C. Ablesen des Timerstatus Das Display wird aktiviert, indem Sie während des Betriebs kurz auf die DISPLAY-Taste drücken. Die verbleibende Zeit seit Einsetzen der neuen Kartusche wird in Tagen angezeigt. Wenn die Zeit überschritten wird, wird die Zeit mit einem Minuszeichen angezeigt.
D. Akustische Signale a) Signal für den Austausch der Filterkartusche: Ein langer Signalton ertönt
stündlich zur vollen Stunde, wenn es weniger als 10 Tage bis zum Ende der programmierten 360 Tage sind (15 Doppel-Pieptöne). Danach ertönt alle 15 Minuten bis zum nächsten Signal eine kürzere Erinnerung (5 Doppel-Pieptöne). b) Erinnerungsfunktion: Drücken Sie auf eine beliebige Taste, um das Signal für 72 Stunden zu deaktivieren, wenn Sie lieber zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt wieder an den Austausch der Filterkartusche erinnert werden möchten. c) Batteriesignal: Wenn die Batterien fast leer sind, ertönt ein langer Signalton (15 Einzel-Pieptöne), gefolgt von einem kurzen Erinnerungssignal (5 EinzelPieptöne) alle 15 Minuten bis zum nächsten Signal zur vollen Stunde. d) Ausschalten des Systems: Dies ist nur möglich, indem die Batterien aus dem Batteriefach genommen werden.
E. Aktivieren der Reset-Funktion beim Austausch der Filterkartusche a) Drücken Sie kurz auf die DISPLAY-Taste, um das Display zu aktivieren. b) Halten Sie die START-/RESET-Taste für 5 Sekunden gedrückt, bis ein langer
Piepton zu hören ist. c) Die letzten 360 programmierten Tage werden auf dem Display angezeigt. d) Der Timer startet automatisch.
F. Installation Sie können die elektronische Kartuschenwechsel-Anzeige mithilfe des mitgelieferten Klettverschlusses an einer geeigneten trockenen Stelle befestigen. Wir empfehlen, die Anzeige unter der Spüle anzubringen. Vermeiden Sie Kontakt mit Wasser/Spritzwasser!
Die Batterien der elektronischen KartuschenwechselAnzeige wechseln
a) Nachdem Sie die Batterien gewechselt haben, ertönt ein langer Piepton. b) Drücken Sie nach dem Piepton kurz auf die DISPLAY-Taste, um das Display
zu aktivieren. c) Es werden nun die verbleibenden Tage seit dem letzten Reset angezeigt.
(Achtung: Nur bis zu 16 Stunden möglich, nachdem die Batterien vollständig leer sind. Danach setzt sich das System auf die Werkseinstellungen zurück und muss neu programmiert werden (siehe Punkt B).
Zurücksetzen
a) Drücken Sie kurz auf die DISPLAY-Taste, um das Display zu aktivieren. b) Halten Sie die START-/RESET-Taste für 5 Sekunden gedrückt, bis ein langer
Piepton zu hören ist. c) Die letzten 360 programmierten Tage werden auf dem Display angezeigt. d) Der Timer startet automatisch.

Indicatore elettronico sostituzione filtro
Programmazione

viene mostrata una impostazione predefinita di 90 giorni. b) Tenere premuto il tasto DISPLAY e, contemporaneamente, premere
brevemente il tasto START/RESET. Tale operazione attiva la modalità di impostazione. c) Per passare da 90 a 360 giorni, premere brevemente il tasto DISPLAY. d) Attendere che il valore del tempo smetta di lampeggiare o il DISPLAY si spenga. e) Per attivare il timer a 360 giorni, premere brevemente il tasto DISPLAY, quindi premere il tasto START/RESET. f) Un punto lampeggiante in basso a sinistra del display indica che il timer è attivo.
C. Lettura dello stato del timer Il display si attiva premendo brevemente il tasto DISPLAY durante il funzionamento. Il tempo rimanente dall’inserimento della nuova cartuccia viene indicato in giorni. Nel caso in cui tale periodo venga superato, il tempo viene visualizzato con un segno meno.
D. Segnali acustici a) Segnale di sostituzione filtro: un avviso prolungato (15 doppi bip) ogni ora

DISPLAY per attivare il display. c) Vengono ora visualizzati i giorni rimanenti dall’ultimo ripristino. Attenzione:
l’operazione è possibile solo entro le 16 ore dallo scaricamento completo delle batterie. Trascorso questo periodo di tempo, l’apparecchio torna alle impostazioni di fabbrica e deve essere riprogrammato (vedere punto B).

Smaltimento corretto
Al termine del ciclo di vita dell’indicatore elettronico sostituzione filtro BRITA, provvedere allo smaltimento conformemente alle normative locali vigenti. Deve essere smaltito come rifiuto elettrico/elettronico. Le batterie in esso contenute devono essere smaltite separatamente in conformità alle leggi e alle normative locali vigenti.
Il marchio del cestino barrato sul prodotto, sull’imballaggio, sugli accessori e/o sulla documentazione del prodotto indica che le parti elettroniche come l’Indicatore del ciclo di vita e le batterie non devono essere smaltite con altri rifiuti domestici. A. Puesta en marcha Introduce las pilas incluidas (2 x AA) en el compartimento correspondiente del indicador de cambio de filtro con pantalla. Se oirá un pitido largo después de insertar las pilas. B. Programación inicial Importante: Programa el temporizador de tu producto para 360 días. Atención: Asegúrate de activar el indicador electrónico de cambio de filtro con pantalla BRITA para que la alarma pueda iniciarse durante el día. Programación: a) Pulsa brevemente el botón DISPLAY para activar la pantalla. Inicialmente, se
muestra la configuración por defecto de 90 días. b) Mantén pulsado el botón DISPLAY y, a continuación, pulsa brevemente y al
mismo tiempo el botón START/RESET. Esto activa el modo de ajuste. c) Para pasar de 90 días a 360 días, pulsa brevemente el botón DISPLAY. d) Espera hasta que el valor del tiempo deje de parpadear o la PANTALLA se

F. Instalación Puedes fijar el indicador electrónico de cambio de filtro en un lugar adecuado y seco utilizando la cinta de velcro suministrada. Recomendamos instalarlo debajo del fregadero. ¡Evita el contacto con el agua/salpicaduras!
Cambiar las pilas del indicador electrónico de cambio de filtro
a) Después de cambiar las pilas, suena un pitido largo. b) Tras la alarma, pulsa el botón DISPLAY para activar la pantalla. c) Ahora se muestran los días restantes desde la última reinicialización.

Al final de la vida útil del indicador electrónico de cambio de filtro BRITA, debes desecharlo de acuerdo con la normativa local aplicable y los requisitos legales. Debe desecharse como residuo eléctrico/electrónico. Las pilas contenidas deben desecharse por separado de acuerdo con la normativa local aplicable y los requisitos legales.

Será emitido um bipe prolongado após a introdução das pilhas. B. Programação inicial Importante: Programa o temporizador do produto para 360 dias. Cuidado: Não te esqueças de ativar o indicador eletrónico de mudança de cartucho com visor BRITA para que o sinal comece durante o dia. Programação: a) Prime o botão DISPLAY (Visor) brevemente para ativar o visor. Inicialmente,
é apresentada a predefinição de 90 dias. b) Mantém premido o botão DISPLAY (Visor) e, em seguida, prime o botão
START/RESET (Iniciar/Repor) brevemente ao mesmo tempo. D. Sinais sonoros a) Sinal para substituir o cartucho: é emitido um sinal sonoro prolongado a cada
hora quando faltarem menos de 10 dias antes da definição programada de 360 dias (15 bipes duplos). Depois, é emitido um lembrete mais curto (5 bipes duplos) a cada 15 minutos até ao sinal seguinte. b) Função de lembrete: prime qualquer botão para desativar o sinal durante 72 horas, se preferires ser lembrado para substituir o cartuchos mais tarde. c) Sinal de pilha: quando as pilhas estiverem vazias, é emitido um sinal sonoro prolongado (15 bipes únicos) seguido de um sinal de lembrete curto (5 bipes únicos) a cada 15 minutos até ao sinal seguinte à hora certa. d) Desligar o dispositivo: só é possível removendo as pilhas do compartimento das pilhas.
E. Ativar a função de reposição ao substituir o cartucho a) Prime o botão DISPLAY (Visor) brevemente para ativar o visor. b) Mantém premido o botão START/RESET durante 5 segundos até ouvires um
sinal sonoro prolongado. c) Os últimos 360 dias programados aparecem no visor. d) O temporizador inicia automaticamente.
F. Instalação Podes fixar o indicador eletrónico de mudança de cartucho num local adequado e seco utilizando o velcro fornecido. Recomendamos que o instales sob o lavaloiças. Evita o contacto com água/salpicos.
Mudar as pilhas do indicador eletrónico de mudança de cartucho
a) Depois de mudares as pilhas, é emitido um sinal sonoro prolongado. b) Depois do sinal sonoro, prime brevemente o botão DISPLAY (Visor) para ativar
o visor. c) Os dias restantes desde a última reposição são então apresentados.
(Atenção: possível apenas até 16 horas depois de as pilhas acabarem. Após este período, o dispositivo repõe as definições de fábrica e tem de ser reprogramado (ver ponto B).

Eliminação correta
No final do tempo de vida útil do indicador eletrónico de mudança de cartucho BRITA, este tem de ser eliminado de acordo com os regulamentos e requisitos legais aplicáveis. Tem de ser eliminado como um resíduo elétrico/ eletrónico. As pilhas incluídas têm de ser eliminadas separadamente, de acordo com os regulamentos e os requisitos estatutários aplicáveis locais.
A marcação de um caixote do lixo com uma cruz no produto, na embalagem do produto, nos acessórios e/ou na documentação do produto indica que as peças eletrónicas, como o indicador de vida útil e as pilhas, não devem ser eliminados com outros resíduos domésticos. Tens a obrigação de colocar estas peças do produto para recolha diferenciada.
