HOW TO USE

Instructions for Use

Carefully read these instructions for use, the User’s Manual of your insulin pump and the instructions for use of the infusion set before using the cartridge system. The cartridge is intended to be used as an insulin reservoir in compatible Accu-Chek insulin pumps. Compatible insulin pumps are the Accu-Chek Spirit and the Accu-Chek Spirit Combo insulin pumps used together with their compatible infusion sets.

For use in the therapy of diabetes mellitus.
For use by people with diabetes and healthcare professionals or caregivers who assist people with diabetes.
No clinical experience in the use of neonates.
For use with insulin or insulin analogs.
For single use only.
Sterile product sterilized with ethylene oxide. The cartridge system consists of a cartridge and a pre-mounted filling aid. The filling aid is used to fill insulin from commercially available 10 mL insulin vials into the cartridge.

WARNING

Risk of suffocation
This product contains small parts that can be swallowed. Keep the small parts away from small children and people who might swallow small parts.
Risk of infection
Visually inspect the sterile packaging. If the packaging is damaged or already open, do not use the product. The product can be unsterile. Do not use products that have passed their use by date. Expired products can be unsterile.Operating conditions: 5–40 °C (41–104 °F), 20–90 % relative humidity Storage conditions: 5–55 °C (41–131 °F), 5–85 % relative humidity, undamaged blister, dry and away from sunlight Discard the used product according to local regulations.
