WMSP-1 Plastic Washing Machine Drain Pan
Product Information
The product is a washing machine pan with a drain hose adapter
designed for installation in accordance with local building codes.
The pan is designed to catch leaks and spills from the washing
machine, protecting the floor and surrounding areas from water
damage. The drain hose adapter is included for convenient drainage
of collected water.
Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Ensure that the area where the washing
machine pan will be installed is clean and free from any
obstructions.
Step 2: Place the washing machine pan in the
desired location, ensuring that it is level and stable.
Step 3: Connect the drain hose adapter to the
pan, using an appropriate connector if necessary.
Step 4: Install the drain hose adapter
according to your local building code, ensuring that it is properly
secured and connected to a drain or other suitable outlet.
Note: It is important to follow local building
codes when installing the drain hose adapter.
Step 5: Once the washing machine pan and drain
hose adapter are installed, place the washing machine on top of the
pan and connect it to the water supply and electrical outlet.
Important: Please avoid placing any objects or
items on top of the washing machine pan, as this may cause damage
or interfere with its function.
USE INSTRUCTIONS WASHING MACHINE PANS
GENERAL
· Recommended for use with full size washing machines with a footprint of up to 28″ x 30″ · Be sure to purchase drilled (drain hole pre-drilled in the side) or undrilled as desired
WASHING MACHINE PAN INSTALLATION
· Place washing machine pan under the area where the washing machine is to be placed · Set washing machine down onto the center of pan without putting any weight or force on the sides of the pan
INSTALLING DRAIN HOSE ADAPTER
· Remove circular nut and rubber O-ring from drainhose adapter · Install drain hose adapter with threaded side through to inside of pan · Place the O-ring on the threaded side of adapter (inside of pan) and slide it to the pan inside wall · Hand-screw the circular nut until the nut is firmly up against the O-ring and inside wall of the pan (hand tight) · Attach hose (not included) to the outside of the drain adapter, with appropriate cement or glue and run hose to a
terminus per your local building code
PLEASE AVOID
· Avoid setting the washing machine on the edge of the pan or it may crush the pan · Avoid stepping on the pan
