This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety feature to reduce the risk of electric shock This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter the plug.
CLEANING: Before cleaning your lamp, unplug or disconnect the power source. Wipe the lamp with a soft, damp cloth.
ATTENTION: If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

Planning Installation

Compare all parts with the “Hardware Included” section. If any part appears missing or damaged, do not install this product and contact the Customer Service team at l-888-543-7388 or e-mail to [email protected].

NOTE: Hardware is not shown to actual size.

INSTALLATION

Step l Remove all content from the packaging.
Step 2 Unscrew the protective cap from the base and screw pole l onto the base. It is important to ensure that the pole is screwed in tightly and is straight.

Step3 Screw pole 2 onto pole l, then screw pole 3 onto pole 2. Screw pole 4 onto pole 3. It is important to ensure that the pole is screwed in tightly and is straight.

Step4 Unscrew the protective cap f ram the lamp head. Screw the shade onto pole 4.

Step 5 Attach the connector then plug in the lamp. Turn on your floor lamp.

CONNECTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Download the Amazon Alexa app.
   
2. Power on your device. Ensure your device has been installed correctly by following the instructions in the “Installation” section.
3. Scan barcode
   
   1. Launch the Amazon Alexa app.
   2. Select “Add a Device”.
   3. Select “Light”, locate Globe Electric and follow the in-app instructions on how to scan the 2D barcode.

Please note: The device is automatically in pairing for 5 minutes once powered on. When you scan the barcode, the white light will flash indicating the pairing is successful. If within 5 minutes, it does not connect, turn the device OFF and ON again to re-enter pairing mode.

Don’t have a barcode? Select “Don’t have a barcode?” in the Alexa app and follow the in-app instructions on how to connect without a 2D barcode.
How to factory reset device If you are struggling to set up your device, or if the device was already connected to a network. perform a factory reset by following the instructions below:

1. Turn the device ON forl0 seconds by connecting the power adapter.
2. Turn the device OFF and ON 5x by disconnecting and re-connecting the pa, Ner adapter. The light will flash RED and then the light will change to WHITE. When the light changes to WH rTE, this means the factory reset mode was successful.
3. Scan the Inner barcode (located In the Instruction manual) and connect within minutes. If you fail to connect within the 5-minute time frame, turn the device OFF and ON again once to re-enter pairing mode. The light will flash WHITE to indicate that the pairing was Sucessful
