Product Usage Instructions:
1. Before using the Thule Epos 3 Hitch Bike Rack, carefully read
and understand all the instructions in this manual. Failure to
comply with the manufacturer’s instructions can lead to serious
injury or death. 2. Make sure the hitch on your vehicle is
compatible with the Thule Epos 3. Refer to the hitch specifications
to ensure a proper fit. 3. Ensure that the weight of your bikes
does not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 66 lbs. (30 kg) and
the total weight capacity of 160 lbs. (73 kg). 4. Measure the
wheelbase of your bike and ensure it does not exceed 53 inches, as
this is the maximum wheelbase supported by the Thule Epos 3. 5. If
using a Thule XXL Fatbike, make sure it is compatible with the
Thule Epos 3 Hitch Bike Rack. 6. Attach the included Wheel Straps
9851 to secure the bikes to the rack. 7. Follow the provided
diagrams (A, B, C, D) to properly attach and secure the Thule Epos
3 Hitch Bike Rack to your vehicle’s hitch. 8. Use a torque wrench
to tighten all bolts and screws to a torque of 7.5 lb ft (10 Nm).
9. Ensure that the Thule Epos 3 Hitch Bike Rack is properly
installed and securely attached to your vehicle before driving. 10.

in the manual to ensure trouble-free and optimal use of the
