Product Information

The Black Electric Flip Down Ceiling TV Mount, SKU:
MOUNT-E-FD70, is a mount designed for flat-screen TVs that can be
flipped down from the ceiling. It has a weight capacity of 77lbs
(35kg) and comes with a remote control for easy operation. The
package includes all the necessary hardware and components for
installation, including a mount, center plate, ceiling template,
decorative cover, VESA bracket, bracket rail, AC adapter, cable
ties, leveling knobs, set screws, screws, washers, and nuts.

Product Usage Instructions

Before beginning assembly, read and understand the instructions
carefully. If you have any doubts about the installation process or
safety, contact a qualified technician.
Check all the components to ensure there are no missing or
defective parts.
Consult the included ceiling template to determine the proper
placement of the mount on the ceiling.
Use a drill to install the mount into wood studs in the
ceiling. Do not install into drywall alone.
Attach the center plate to the mount using screws and
washers.
Attach the VESA brackets to the back of the TV using screws and
nuts.
Attach the bracket rails to the VESA brackets using screws and
nuts.
Attach the TV to the center plate by sliding the bracket rails
into the mount and securing with set screws.
Attach the decorative covers to the mount using screws.
Use cable ties to organize and secure cables.
Install the leveling knobs to adjust the angle of the TV as
needed.
Plug the AC adapter into a power outlet and connect it to the
mount.
Use the included remote control to flip the TV down from the
ceiling and adjust the angle as desired.

ASSEMBLY STEPS
STEP 1: Installing the Mount

OPTION A: Wood Ceiling

OPTION B: Concrete Ceiling

Using Ceiling Template (C), mark exact location Using Ceiling Template (C), mark exact location

of mounting holes. Drill pilot holes 2.2″ deep of mounting holes. Drill pilot holes 2.4″ deep,

using a 4.5mm drill bit. Insert two ST6.3x55mm using a 10mm drill bit. Insert six Anchors (W-B),

Screws (W-A), leaving a 5mm gap from ceiling. then tighten two ST6.3x55mm Screws (W-A), Hang Mount (A) so that the screws fit into the leaving a 5mm gap from ceiling. Hang Mount (A) keyhole openings. Slide Mount (A) backward, so that the screws fit into the keyhole openings.

ensure the front and back holes are used

for the main support if mount is in line with

STEP 2: Assembling VESA Components

Assemble Bracket Rails (F) to Center Plate (C) using M6x25mm Screws (S-B), M6 Washers (S-C) and M6 Nuts (S-D). While holding M6 Nuts (S-D) with a wrench, use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten M6x25mm Screws (S-B). Slide VESA Brackets (E) onto Bracket Rails (F) and secure using M4x8m Screws (S-E) and 3mm Allen Wrench (T-A).

Adjust VESA Brackets (E) spacing to match TV mounting holes, and lock in place using Set Screw (S-A) and 3mm Allen Wrench (T-A). Remove the four pre-installed screws from Center Plate (B) and loosen the center screw until 5mm of thread is exposed.

STEP 3: Mounting VESA Assembly
OPTION A: Flat Back TV Align the VESA bracket assembly with the mounting holes in the back of the TV screen. Install assembly to TV using appropriate screws (M-A, M-B) and Square Washers (M-F) according to your screen’s requirements.

OPTION B: Curved/Recessed Back TV Align the VESA bracket assembly with the mounting holes in the back of the TV screen. Install assembly to TV using appropriate screws (M-C, M-D, M-E), Square Washers (M-F) and Spacers (M-G, M-H) according to your screen’s requirements.

STEP 4: Attach Leveling Knobs (Optional)
Attach Leveling Knobs (J) to the lower two Set Screws (S-A) as shown. This will ensure the TV is perfectly level with the ceiling when raised.

STEP 5: Place TV on Mount
Place the TV with VESA bracket assembly on Mount (A) by inserting the center screw on Center Plate (B) into the keyhole on Mount (A) at the desired height. Secure using previously removed screws (STEP 2) and tighten with a Phillips screwdriver. Clearance between the ceiling and top edge of TV should be no less than 15mm when TV is in the fully lowered position.

STEP 6: Manage Cables
Run cables along edge of Mount (A). Allow slack in cables for arm movement. Place Decorative Covers (D) over cables and snap into place. Next, using Cable Ties (I) to fasten cables to the side of the arm. NOTE: Keep cables clear from inside of arm to avoid damage due to pinching.

STEP 7: Connect AC Adapter
Plug AC Adapter (G) into Mount (A), and connect to AC outlet. Follow Remote (H) instructions for operation. NOTE: Plugging power supply into AC outlet prior to the mount may cause a large spark when connecting to the mount.
