N482-01U High Density Fiber Cassette Enclosure
Product Information:
The N482-01U is an enclosure for 5 High-Density Fiber Cassettes.
It is designed to be space-saving with a 1U design that can be
rackmounted in a 19″ rack. The enclosure supports up to 5 Tripp
Lite High Density Fiber Cassettes, allowing for up to 60 Duplex LC
Ports (120 fiber connections). It is constructed of heavy-duty
steel housing and includes an optional rear-mounting cable
management bracket for proper routing of cabling. The enclosure
features a fold-down door panel on the front that protects the
connections and can be rotated out of the way to provide full
access. The door panel can also be removed altogether. The
cassettes come in multiple variations, allowing you to connect
different generations of equipment (10Gb, 40Gb, 100/120Gb) and
adapt as your technology changes.
Product Usage Instructions:
- Mount the N482-01U enclosure in a 19″ rack using suitable
rackmount hardware. - If required, attach the optional rear-mounting cable management
bracket to the enclosure for proper routing of cabling. - Open the fold-down door panel on the front of the unit to
access the connections. - If necessary, install the desired Tripp Lite High Density Fiber
Cassettes into the enclosure. These cassettes support different
generations of equipment (10Gb, 40Gb, 100/120Gb). - Connect your fiber optic cables to the appropriate ports on the
cassettes. - If desired, close the fold-down door panel to protect the
connections. The panel can also be removed altogether.
Note: Ensure that the operating temperature remains within the
range of -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C) for optimal performance. The
product is compliant with RoHS standards. It comes with a lifetime
limited warranty.

Installation is simple, with the cassettes being easily installed or removed using push / pull tabs to lock or unlock them from the panel; no tools required. Management is a breeze with an optional rear-mounting cable management bracket that allows you to rout your cabling neatly and safely. A fold-down door panel is featured on the front of the unit, and protects your connections, while rotating out of the way to provide full access. The door panel can also be removed altogether for installations where constant access is preferred. Constructed of heavy-duty steel housing.
