Product Usage Instructions

Precautions for Usage

  1. When using the water heater for the first time (or after
    maintenance), make sure it is filled fully with water before
    switching it on. Open at least one of the outlet valves at the
    outlet of the water heater to exhaust the air. Close this valve
    after the heater is filled fully with water.
  2. The water heater should not be used by persons (including
    children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities,
    or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or
    given instructions by a responsible person. Ensure that children do
    not play with the heater.
  3. Do not open the front cover to avoid electric shock.
  4. Avoid spraying water directly into the power cord or body of
    the heater to prevent moisture damage.
  5. Do not touch the plug or socket with wet hands to avoid
    electric shock.
  6. Non-professional after-sales service is prohibited for
    disassembling maintenance to prevent safety accidents.
  7. During heating, there may be drops of water dripping from the
    pressure release hole of the pressure.

Precautions for Installation

  1. Before installing the water heater, ensure that the earthing on
    the supply socket is reliably grounded. Failure to do so may
    prevent installation and use of the electrical water heater.
  2. Do not use extension boards as incorrect installation and use
    of this electrical water heater may result in serious injuries and
    property loss.
  3. The rated current of the socket must be at least 16A.
  4. The wall where the electrical water heater is installed must be
    able to bear the load of the heater.

Precautions for Repair/Transfer

  1. When selling or transferring the product, tape this instruction
    manual in a conspicuous part of the main body for the new owner’s
    safety.
  2. If parts are damaged during disassembly, they should be
    purchased from the manufacturer.
  3. Non-professional after-sales service is prohibited from
    disassembling maintenance to prevent safety accidents.
  4. Always cut off the power supply before maintenance to avoid
    dangers like electric shock.

! 1. Warning
* Precautions for usage
Since the water temperature inside the heater can reach up to 65¥, the hot water must not be exposed to human bodies when it is initially used. Adjust the water temperature to a suitable temperature to avoid scalding.Install either a tempering valve or thermostatic mixing valve in all systems intended for personal hygiene. With this the delivery temperature for personal hygiene outlets must be limited to 50 °C.
When using the water heater for the first time (or the first use after maintenance), the water heater can not be switched on until it has been filled fully with water. When filling the water, at least one of the outlet valves at the outlet of the water heater must be opened to exhaust the air. This valve can be closed after the heater has been filled fully with water.
The water heater is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the heater.

relief valve, this is a normal phenomenon. The pressure release hole shall not be blocked under no circumstances, otherwise, the water heater may get damaged, even resulting in accidents. If there is a large amount of water leak, please contact customer care center for repair. The socket and plug must be kept dry to prevent electrical leakage. If the flexible power supply cord is damaged, the special supply cord provided by the manufacturer must be selected, and replaced by the professional maintenance personnel.
* Precautions for installation
Before installing this water heater,check and confirm that the earthing on the supply socket is reliably grounded. Otherwise, the electrical water heater can not be installed and used. Do not use extension boards. Incorrect installation and use of this electrical water heater may result in serious injuries and loss of property.
The rated current of the socket must not be lower than 16A. The wall in which the electrical water heater is installed must be able to bear the load more than
two times of the heater filled fully with water without distortion and cracks. Otherwise, other strengthening measures must be adopted. Installation, piping works and wiring works or electrical construction should comply to relevant laws and follow the installation instruction. If fail to comply, leakage or electricity may lead to re or electric shock. Do not install this electric water heater outside, indoor use only. It may result re or electric shock. Do not place ammable materials or Gases near to the Electric water heater. It may result fire or explosion. The electric water heater is equipped with a safety valve, which must be installed at a designated position and cannot be changed, otherwise, a safety accident may occur(See Fig.1) Metal hoses should not be used to connect electric water heaters. This can cause an electric shock. After the water heater is installed, do not turn on the knob to power the electric water heater before it is filled with water, otherwise the water shortage of the electric water heater will lead to dry burning The maximum inlet water pressure is 0.5MPa; the minimum inlet water pressure is 0.1MPa, if this is necessary for the correct operation of the appliance.

* Precautions for repair/transfer

* Precautions for inspection and maintenance
The pressure relief valve need to be checked and cleaned regularly, so as to make sure it will not be blocked.
If the heater is not used for a long time, especially in regions with low air temperature (below 0¥ ) , it is necessary to drain water from the heater to prevent damage of the water heater, due to water freezing in the internal tankIt is recommended to contact professional technicians for operation
Check power plugs and sockets as often as possible. Safe electrical contact and reliable grounding must be provided. The plug must not overheat.
2. To ensure long-term reliable operation of the water heater, it is recommended to clean the water tank in the water heater regularly, remove the sediment on the electric heating element of the water heater, check whether the magnesium anode is completely decomposed, and replace it if necessary to prevent complete decomposition. The frequency of tank cleaning depends on the hardness of the water in the area. Cleaning must be carried out by special maintenance personnel. You can ask the seller for the address of the nearest service center.

3. UNIT INSTALLATION

3.1 Installation Instruction
This electrical water heater shall be installed on a solid wall. If the strength of the wall cannot bear the load equal to two times of the total weight of the heater filled fully with water, it is then necessary to install a special support. Incase of hollow bricks wall, ensure to fill it with cement concrete completely.
After selecting a proper location, determine the positons of the two install holes used for expansion bolts with hook (200mm), Make two holes in the wall with the corresponding depth by using a chopping bit with the size matching the expansion bolts attached with the machine, insert the screws, make the hook upwards, tighten the nuts to fix firmly, and then hang the electrical water heater on it (see Fig.2).

three electrode. It is recommended to place the socket on both sides above the water heater and away from the water pipe connection(see Fig.3)

1. The socket should be installed far away from the water pipe connection or at a position where water may drip to prevent external water from entering the socket and causing a short circuit 2. The socket shall be installed in a place out of the reach of children to prevent children from playing or touching (for example, an electric water heater shall be installed in an open area, and it is recommended that the socket be 1.8m above the ground)

If the bathroom is too small, the heater can be installed at another place. However, in order to reduce the pipeline heat losses, the installation position of the heater shall be closed to the location shall be as near as possible to the heater.

3.2 Pipelines Connection

The dimension of each pipe part is 1/2″ ; The massive pressure of inlet should use Pa as the unit; The minimum pressure of inlet should use Pa as the unit.
Connection of pressure relief valve with the heater on the inlet of the water heater. In order to avoid leakage when connecting the pipelines, the rubber seal gaskets provided with
the heater must be added at the end of the threads to ensure leak proof joints (see Fig.4).

WARNING

The water inlet pipe needs to be equipped with a one-way water inlet valve or a pipe with the function of backflow prevention to prevent water flow back to inlet pipe. When no water in water heater, and user switch on the machine, it will cause water heater failure.

NOTE
Please be sure to use the accessories provided by our company to install this electric water heater. This electric water heater can not be hung on the support until it has been confirmed to be firm and reliable. Otherwise, the electric water heater may drop off from the wall, resulting in damage of the heater, even serious accidents of injury. When determining the locations of the bolt holes, it shall be ensured that there is a clearance not less than 0.2m on the right side of the electric heater, to convenient the maintenance of the heater, if necessary.
4. METHODS OF USING
First, open any one of the outlet valves at the outlet of the water heater, then, open the inlet valve. The water heater gets filled with water. When water flows out of the outlet pipe it implies that the heater has been filled fully with water, and the outlet valve can be closed.
NOTE
During normal operation, the inlet valve shall be always kept open.
Before the electric water heater is powered on, confirm whether the internal water is full, otherwise it will lead to dry burning of the electric water heater, causing failure and danger
After confirming that the water is full, insert the plug into the socket

1aTurn the knob”æ” to the right, the electric water heater will be powered on and start heating. The more you turn the knob to the right, the higher the temperature will be set, and the maximum temperature will be 65 ¥ 2aDuring the heating process of the electric water heater, the indicator light “è”will be on. When the water heater is heated to the set temperature, it will automatically stop heating, and the indicator light will automatically go out. 5. MAINTENANCE

WARNING

Do cut off power supply before maintenance, to avoid danger like electric shock.
Check the power plug and outlet as often as possible. Secure electrical contact and also proper grounding must be provided. The plug and outlet must not heat excessively.
If the heater is not used for a long time, especially in regions with low air temperature(below 0¥), it is nessary to drain water from the heater to prevent damage of the water heater, due to water freezing in the internal tank.(It is recommended to ask professional technicians to operate). To ensure long reliable water heater operation, it is recommended to regularly clean the internal
tank and remove deposits on the electric heating element of the water heater, as well as check condition (fully decomposed or not) of the magnesium anode and, if necessary, replace it with a new one in case of full decomposition.Tank cleaning frequency depends on hardness of water located in this territory. Cleaning must be performed by special maintenance services. You can ask the seller for address of the nearest service center.
The water heater is equipped with a thermal switch, which cuts off power supply of the heating element upon water overheating or its absence in the water heater. If the water heater is connected to the mains, but water is not heated and the indicator doesn’t light up, then the thermal switch was switched off or not switched on. To reset the water heater to the operating condition, it is necessary to: 1. De-energize the water heater, remove the plate of the side/lower cover. 2. Press the button, located at the center of the thermal switch, see Fig.7; 3. If the button is not pressed and there is no clicking, then you should wait until the thermal switch cools down to the initial temperature.

6. TROUBLESHOOTING

Failures
The heating indicator light is off.

Reasons
Failures of the temperature controller.

No water coming out of the hot water outlet.

1. The running water supply is cut off.
2. The hydraulic pressure is too low.
3. The inlet valve of running water is not open.

The water temperature is too high.
Water leak.

Failures of the temperature control system.
Seal problem of the joint of each pipe.

Treatment
Contact with the professional personnel for repair.
1. Wait for restoration of running water supply.
2. Use the heater again when the hydraulic pressure is increased.
3. Open the inlet valve of running water.
Contact with the professional personnel for repair.
Seal up the joints.
