With thousands in use around the world, our EUROLIVE B1500D-PRO and B1800D-PRO active subwoofers have become the new standard in low-frequency reproduction. But what if your application calls for a smaller system that still kicks serious butt?

The EUROLIVE B1200D-PRO packs everything there is to love about these powerful systems into a more compact, easy to transport enclosure, making them ideal for small- to mid-sized venues. Armed with a 500-Watt Class-D amplifier and a host of truly professional features, these little brutes crank out tons of tight, low-end punch—with the definition and clarity typically reserved for much larger systems.

Put simply, these cool-running systems provide an impressive power-to-weight ratio—and our no-compromise design means you get amazingly deep, chest-pounding bass that will keep the party going all night long.1

What is Class-D Technology?

Instead of operating relatively continuously like Class-AB circuits, Class-D amps switch on and off thousands of times per second, delivering power only when needed. The amplifier is either fully on or fully off, which significantly reduces power losses from the output devices given off as heat. Less heat means our Class-D amps don’t need massive heat sinks, and that means we can make them lighter. Plus B1200D-PRO’s amplifier provides all the dynamic punch and fidelity you’d expect from a much larger, more expensive subwoofer.

Custom-Designed Transducers

The transducers (woofers and tweeters) are the only part of a sound system you actually hear, so we never cut corners, and we never just grab whatever happens to be on the shelf. We custom-design our own so they are the perfect match for both the amplifier and the application. We wind our own voice

coils, process the paper pulp into cones and even machine our own backplates. This enables us to control the quality, and frankly, make better components. The 12″ long-excursion, low-frequency transducer was designed specifically for use in the EUROLIVE B1200D-PRO.

Take Control

The B1200D-PRO features balanced XLR inputs and outputs, as well as balanced XLR Thru jacks for connecting additional enclosures.
A Boost Frequency knob lets you boost any frequency between 45 Hz and 90 Hz. Then just flick the Boost switch to give your selected frequency a +10 dB boost. We’ve also provided a High Cut dial that controls the upper-corner frequency for the internal amplifier without affecting Thru A/B signals.
A Level knob controls the input gain, and the Phase switch reverses the output phase to compensate for frequency cancellation between the subwoofer and satellite speakers. LEDs show operational status at a glance including power, signal present and input overloads.

Value

Plenty of power, light weight, amazing sound, rugged durability and affordability—you get it all with the EUROLIVE B1200D-PRO. Plus, we back it up with one of the best warranty programs in the industry, a full 3 years!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you mean 500 Watts peak or maximum?

The response is 500 watts peak and 250 RMS. It is stated as having a 500-watt maximum output in the instructions.

What size does this Submarine have?

This sub’s dimensions are 14.5″ wide by 17″ tall by 16.5″ deep.

Is this speaker powered or non-powered?

It has its own strength. It may be moved without the use of an extra power amp. You can choose to connect your mixer’s line output to it, and it includes parallel outputs with bass filters that can go to either a power amp or a full-range speaker.

Does this sub require an amplifier?

No, this is a powered sub with a built-in 500w amp.

What is the ohm value?

It is 8 ohms.

Are Behringer Eurolive Speakers good?

It is lightweight while also being strong. It has excellent sound quality and is also reasonably priced. The B210D resides in this area of striking inconsistencies and does so without any problems or complaints. When it comes to other speaker systems that are identical, this is just not the case.

How do I activate my subwoofer?

The connection between your subwoofer and home entertainment receiver is straightforward: Simply connect this audio connector cable between the subwoofer’s line input and the receiver’s subwoofer output (pictured above). Use the LFE input if it is available on the subwoofer.

Why is Behringer so cheap?

Customers and music lovers claim that Behringer products are inexpensive because they don’t have to invest a lot of money in R&D. Instead, they make and sell them for less money by “being inspired” by the ideas of their rivals.

Why is my powered subwoofer not working?

Your subwoofer was likely blown if it ceased functioning. Check by unplugging and replugging the subwoofer. Try changing the amp’s input from AUX to SUBWOOFER if the problem persists. If it doesn’t work, it’s likely that the subwoofer has blown and needs to be replaced.

What DB is best for bass?

The range of preferred bass levels among individual listeners, according to the study, is 17 dB, ranging from -3 dB (listener 346) to 14.1 dB (listener 400). This discovery surprised me not just for the wide range of variation of 17dB (quite a bit), but also for the fact that someone out there appreciated a -3dB bass cut.

How do I activate my subwoofer?

The connection between your subwoofer and home entertainment receiver is straightforward: Simply connect this audio connector cable between the subwoofer’s line input and the receiver’s subwoofer output (pictured above). Use the LFE input if it is available on the subwoofer.

Can I leave powered subwoofer on all the time?

Yes, as long as your subwoofer includes an auto standby mode, you can leave it on constantly. Subwoofers that are in standby use less energy and last longer. Older subwoofers without this feature should be unplugged while not in use since heat created by electricity escaping causes the amplifier to become hotter than usual.

Why is there no bass coming from my subwoofer?

Next, examine the amplifier if you’re certain the subwoofer is broken. The most frequent cause of subwoofer sounding weak is having the improper size amplifier. Next, verify that the subwoofer is set to the appropriate frequency and volume in the speaker settings.
