Vibrating Pad – Assistive Product for People with Hearing
Loss

The vibrating pad is a device designed to assist people with
hearing loss. It provides a vibration signal that can alert the
user to various sounds such as a doorbell, phone, or alarm.

Setup

Insert batteries: See pages 1 to 5. The device vibrates twice
to confirm its function.
Connect the plug with the AUX-socket of a lisaor
signolux-receiver (page 6).

Status Indication “Low Battery”

Depleted batteries are indicated by the following signs:

The status-LED “BAT” blinks every 4 seconds.
When activating the pad, vibration is as follows:
- Vibrations twice – Battery level above 70%
- Vibrations once – Battery level between 30-70%
- Vibrations three times – Battery level below 30%

Please replace the batteries as soon as possible!

Using Rechargeable Batteries

The vibrating pad can also be powered by rechargeable batteries
of size AA. The different voltages of normal batteries and
rechargeable ones make the following adjustment necessary:

Open the battery compartment.
Remove the batteries.
Underneath the front contact spring is an opening with a small
adjuster switch, as depicted on the next page:

Position 1): When using regular batteries
Position 2): When using rechargeable batteries

With the help of a pointed object, change the position of the
small switches accordingly. Please note: Depleted rechargeable
batteries need to be recharged in an external battery charger.
Should regular batteries be used again, please reset the adjustment
switch accordingly.

regulations!

Inbetriebnahme DE 1. Batterien einlegen: Siehe Seite 1-5.
Die Funktion wird durch zwei Vibrationen bestätigt. 2. Vibrationskissen mit AUX-Anschluss des lisa-
oder signolux-Empfängers verbinden (Seite 6).
Statusangabe ,,Batterie schwach”
Entladene Batterien werden wie folgt angezeigt:
– Die Status-LED ,,BAT” blinkt alle 4 Sekunden auf. – Beim Aktivieren des Vibrationskissens erfolgt die
Vibration nach dem unten dargestellten Muster:

In diesem Fall müssen die Batterien baldmöglichst ausgetauscht werden!
DE Betrieb mit Akkus Wahlweise kann das Vibrationskissen mit handelsüblichen Akkus Typ AA betrieben werden. Die unterschiedliche Betriebsvoltzahl von Batterien und Akkus macht den folgenden Einstellvorgang am Vibrationskissen notwendig:
1. Öffnen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel
2. Entfernen Sie die Batterien
3. Unterhalb der vorderen Kontaktfeder befindet sich eine kleine Öffnung mit einem Einstellschalter. Siehe Abbildung nächste Seite:

Les piles vides sont indiquées comme suit
– La LED d’état ,,BAT” clignote pendant 4 secondes – Lors de l’activation du coussin les vibrations dé-
marrent suivant le modèle ci-dessous :

Dans ce cas, les piles doivent être rapidement remplacées !
Utilisation avec des accus
Le coussin vibrant peut également être utilisé avec des accus AA (piles rechargeables) du commerce. La différence de voltage entre les piles et les accus FR nécessite le réglage suivant sur le coussin :
1. Ouvrir le couvercle du logement à piles 2. Enlever les piles 3. Sous le premier ressort du contact se trouve une
petite ouverture avec 2 interrupteurs. Voir page suivante :

Position 1) : Pour utilisation avec piles Position 2) : Pour utilisation avec accus Glisser avec une pointe les interrupteurs dans la position correspondante.

Remarque : Les accus vides doivent être enlevés et rechargés dans une station de charge externe.
Si des piles étaient ensuite utilisées, les interrupteurs doivent être remis sur les positions correspondantes.

Vervang de batterijen zo spoedig mogelijk!
Gebruik maken van gewone batterijen AA of oplaadbare AA accu’s
Gebruik maken van gewone batterijen AA of oplaadbare AA accu’s. Door het verschil van spanningen in normale batterijen en oplaadbare accu’s, zijn de volgende aanpassing nodig:

een kleine keuze schakelaar, zoals afgebeeld op de volgende pagina:

Let op!: Lege oplaadbare accu’s moeten worden opgeladen in een externe lader.
Indien er weer gebruik gemaakt wordt van gewone batterijen, dient u de keuzeschakelaar terug zetten op de oorspronkelijke stand.

Si prega di sostituire le batterie al più presto possibile!
Utilizzo di batterie ricaricabili
Il pad vibrante può anche essere alimentato da batterie ricaricabili di tipo AA (Stilo). Il differente voltaggio tra pile (alkaline) e batterie (ricaricabili) rendono necessario la seguente impostazione:
1. Aprire il vano batterie 2. Rimuovere le pile/batterie 3. Sotto la molla di contatto frontale, vi è un’apertura IITT
con un piccolo interruttore di regolazione, come raffigurato sulla pagina successiva:

Posizione 1): Quando si usano pile normali (alkaline) IT Posizione 2): Quando si usano batterie ricaricabili
Con l’aiuto di un oggetto appuntito, modificare di conseguenza la posizione dell’ interruttore secondo la posizione desiderata.

Nota bene: le batterie ricaricabili esauste devono essere ricaricate in un caricabatterie esterno.
In caso di utilizzo di pile normali (alkaline) si prega di ripristinare l`interruttore sulla corretta posizione.

2. Conectar el cojín vibratorio con la conexión AUX del receptor lisa o signolux (página 6).
Indicación de estado ,,Pilas débiles”
Las pilas descargadas se indican de la siguiente manera: – El LED de estado ,,BAT” se parpadea cada 4 segundos. – Al activar el cojín vibratorio se produce una vibra-
ción de acuerdo al modelo abajo indicado: EITS

¡En este caso las pilas deben ser sustituidas lo antes posible!
Servicio con pilas recargables
Selectivamente el cojín vibratorio puede ser operado con pilas recargables tipo AA. La diferente tensión de servicio de pilas y pilas recargables hace necesario el siguiente procedimiento de ajuste en el cojín vibratorio:
1. Abra la tapa del compartimiento para pilas 2. Retire las pilas 3. Por debajo del resorte de contacto delantero se
encuentra una pequeña abertura con un interruptor de conmutación. Véase ilustración en IETS la página siguiente:

Posición 1): Con el empleo de pilas Posición 2): Con el empleo de pilas recargable
Conmute el pequeño interruptor con un objeto punEITS tiagudo a la posición correspondiente.

Por favor, observe: Las pilas recargables descargadas deben ser extraídas y vueltas a cargar en un cargador externo.
¡Si después de ello se vuelven a emplear pilas convencionales, el interruptor de ajuste debe ser restablecido adecuadamente!
