Assembly

1. Lay the mirror face-down on a flat surface. Use a soft towel under the convex mirror to prevent scratching.
2. Carefully align the mounting bracket over the mounting holes. The concave mirror uses the U-shaped bracket, and the straight bracket is for the convex mirror.
3. Insert a screw through the front of the mirror and fasten with a black plastic cap nut as shown. Repeat for the other hole.
4. With the included allen key, hold the plastic nut and tighten the screw. Do not over-tighten! The mirrors are not heavy and only need to be snug.
5. With the mirror still on its face, thread the mounting rod into the tapped hole in the center of the bracket.
   
6. Set the mirror aside and assemble the ring stand by fastening the rod into the iron base.
7. If using a swivel clamp and ring stand, fasten the clamp near the top of the ring stand. For ease of use, make sure the part of the clamp with the set screw can remain stationary.
8. Finally, mount the mirror to the ring stand as shown. Be sure the clamp grasps the mounting rod close to the bracket. This allows for more stability and ease of adjustment.
   Note: To adjust the angle of the mirror, first loosen the set screw. Then, move the mirror into place and re-tighten the set screw.
