Product Information: Prepaid Servicing for Electric
Vehicles

The Prepaid Servicing for Electric Vehicles program provides an
option to pre-purchase standard scheduled services for electric
battery-powered vehicles. The program is effective from 1 Apr 2021
and is available at authorized Kia dealers.

The program allows customers to pre-purchase 3, 5, or 7 standard
scheduled services at 15,000km intervals. The prepaid price for
each eligible service includes the cost (including GST) of the
service.

Please note that the program only covers the cost of standard
scheduled maintenance services as specified in the applicable
Owner’s Manual. It does not cover the cost of any additional works
that may be required. Your authorized Kia dealer will inform you if
any additional items need attention and seek your consent before
proceeding with the works.

The program is assigned to the vehicle and can be transferred to
subsequent owners but cannot be transferred to another vehicle. No
refunds will be issued for unused services or in case of vehicle
sale or owner transfer.

The program applies from the Manufacturer’s Warranty Start Date
and the service due dates are calculated from this date. The
prepaid service pricing is only available if purchased at the time
of vehicle purchase. The program is applicable only to vehicles
imported and distributed by Kia Australia Pty Ltd and sold through
authorized participating Kia dealers.

Servicing under the program can only be carried out at
authorized participating Kia dealers across Australia. The
servicing must be done in accordance with the manufacturer’s time
and kilometer (whichever occurs first) scheduled maintenance
requirements mentioned in the Owner’s Manual.

It’s important to note that you cannot claim both a specified
distance service and the corresponding time period service
separately. If any scheduled maintenance service is missed,
additional costs may apply when the vehicle is presented for its
next scheduled maintenance service.

The Roadside Assistance package is available for the duration of
the prepaid package purchased, up to a maximum of 8 years from the
Manufacturer’s Warranty Start Date. It will be renewed for 12
months upon each service completed under the prepaid program.

These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time, and
any amendments will be published on the Kia website and take effect
immediately upon publication.

Product Usage Instructions: Prepaid Servicing for Electric
Vehicles

  1. Visit an authorized Kia dealer to participate in the Prepaid
    Servicing for Electric Vehicles program.
  2. Choose the desired number of standard scheduled services (3, 5,
    or 7) to pre-purchase at 15,000km intervals.
  3. Make the payment for the prepaid services, including GST.
  4. Ensure that the prepaid service pricing is purchased at the
    time of vehicle purchase to avail the program benefits.
  5. Keep in mind that the program only covers standard scheduled
    maintenance services as specified in the Owner’s Manual.
  6. Consult with your authorized Kia dealer for any additional
    works that may be required and provide consent before
    proceeding.
  7. Remember that the program is assigned to the vehicle and can be
    transferred to subsequent owners but not to another vehicle.
  8. Maintain the scheduled maintenance requirements set out in the
    Owner’s Manual for servicing under the program.
  9. Do not claim both a specified distance service and the
    corresponding time period service separately.
  10. If any scheduled maintenance service is missed, additional
    costs may apply during the next scheduled maintenance service.
  11. Note that the Roadside Assistance package is available for the
    duration of the prepaid package purchased, up to a maximum of 8
    years from the Manufacturer’s Warranty Start Date.
  12. Ensure that each service completed under the prepaid program is
    renewed for an additional 12 months of Roadside Assistance.
  13. Stay updated with any amendments to the Terms and Conditions,
    published on the Kia website.

Prepaid Servicing for Electric Vehicles-Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the operation of the program at authorised Kia dealers and are effective from 1 Apr 2021.
1 . For electric battery powered vehicles, the program provides an option to pre-purchase 3, 5 or 7 15,000km interval standard scheduled services.
Eligible standard scheduled services are set out in paragraph 12.
2. The prepaid price for each eligible standard scheduled service under the program covers the cost
(including GST) of:
· labour; · genuine parts (listed in the specific Kia service schedule in the Owner’s Manual) · Fluids; and · sundries,
3. The program applies only to the standard scheduled maintenance services as set out in the
applicable Owner’s Manual. The program does not cover the cost of any of the following:
· Additional maintenance or repair for wear and tear to items including, but not limited to, tyres, brake pads, and bulbs;
· Fluid top ups or other items required between scheduled services; · Items that require replacement or repair due to excess wear and tear, misuse or a lack of
maintenance as described in the Owner’s Manual; · Supplementary maintenance services (which will vary depending on the use of the vehicle)
such as the conditions listed in the “Maintenance Under Severe Usage Conditions” in your Owner’s Manual; and · Additional maintenance and repairs that may be recommended by your authorised participating Kia dealer to suit your particular driving conditions.
Your Kia dealer will advise if any additional items require attention prior to the works being undertaken. Your consent will be requested before your authorised Kia dealer completes those additional works.
4. The program is assigned to the vehicle and not the owner. The program scheduled maintenance
servicing is transferable to subsequent owners but cannot be transferred to another vehicle. Once purchased no refunds will be issued for unused services or vehicle sale/owner transfer.

5. The program applies from the Manufacturer’s Warranty Start Date (as defined under the heading
Definitions contained within the Service and Warranty Manual). Service due dates are taken from the Manufacturer’s Warranty Start Date. The prepaid Service pricing available in this program is only available if purchased at the time of the purchase of the vehicle. The program is only applicable to vehicles imported and distributed by Kia Australia Pty Ltd and sold through authorised participating Kia dealers.
6. Servicing under the program can be carried out and is available only at an authorised participating
Kia dealer Australia wide.
7. Servicing conducted under the program must be carried out in accordance with the
manufacturer’s time and kilometre (whichever occurs first) scheduled maintenance requirements set out in the Owner’s Manual.
8. You cannot claim both a specified distance service and the corresponding time period service
separately.
9. If any scheduled maintenance service is missed, when your vehicle is presented for its next
scheduled maintenance service additional costs may apply, in addition to the prepaid price for that particular service.
10. The Roadside Assistance package will be available for the term of the prepaid package purchased
(up to a maximum of 8 years from the Manufacturer’s Warranty Start Date) and renewed for the term of 12 months upon each service completed under the prepaid program.
11. Subject to paragraph 12, these Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time.
Amendments will be published on the Kia website and will take effect immediately on publication.
12. Eligible standard scheduled services
The scheduled maintenance services eligible for electric battery powered vehicles under the prepaid service program are:
· Twelve (12) months / fifteen thousand (15,000) kilometre service · Twenty four (24) months / thirty thousand (30,000) kilometre service · Thirty six (36) months / forty five thousand (45,000) kilometre service · Forty eight (48) months / sixty thousand (60,000) kilometre service · Sixty (60) months / seventy five thousand (75,000) kilometre service · Seventy two (72) months / ninety thousand (90,000) kilometre service · Eighty four (84) months / one hundred and five thousand (105,000) kilometre service
