nVent PYROTENAX System 1850 Mineral Insulated (MI) Fire-Rated Wiring systems are the highest performing UL 2196 Listed cables for protecting critical life safety circuits in a building.
Now, when installing System 1850, contractors can strip MI fire-rated wiring cables up to 500% faster using the new ergonomically designed nVent PYROTENAX Power Stripper Tool. This tool easily attaches to a commonly used Milwaukee power tool*, while ultimately protecting contractors from overall operator fatigue, increasing productivity, and saving on Total Installed Cost (TIC).

POWER STRIPPER TOOL CAPABILITY
The Power Stripper Tool is approved only for use with nVent PYROTENAX MI cables with diameters up to .543”. Please see our Commercial MI Wiring Tools Data Sheet (H57603) on page two for additional stripping tool options.
APPLICATIONS
The Power Stripper Tool is approved for use on System 1850 and 1850Z cables with diameters within the approved range. It works for all single conductor, multi conductor, twisted and twisted shielded cables up to .543” in diameter.
