FAQs
Yes, it comes with a T connector, bollard lamp, stake/spike, and extension cord. If you are purchasing multiple extensions, use the T connector from the last extension lamp to connect the first or base unit bollard to the chain. The base unit does not come with a T connector. The last lamp on the chain does not need the T connector as it’s cord can connect directly to its extension cable which connects to lamp n-1’s T connector. Ignore the video and literature that shows the final T connector capped on the downstream side at the final lamp.

I had my original Hue transformer die when lightning hit out house. But I replaced it with a 250W 24v transformer. Instead of using 3 hue transformers, all 14 lights are running on one, with plenty of wattage to spare to add more units.
You can splice the wires and connect to your 24v transformer. But this will void warranty. I have spliced mine and it works fine.
You WILL NOT get a t-connector with the CELLA light. There is no way to interconnect these lights without cutting and splicing. They simply are not available. I planned to string 5 CELLA lights together. After purchasing, unpacking, and throwing the original packaging out, I now find out the connectors cannot be obtained.
Each starter (base) can accommodate a total of 5 lights. But they’re having stock issues. Took me 4 months to get the base unit and 5 months for the extension units.
Yes, the cable is allowed to be and it is recommended. It is not recommended to bury the connector that links the lights together.
I have 8 or them to one plug. No problems.
Yes, through the Hue app.
It could, but the light is not very heavy; you’ll need to secure it and route the wiring.
There are two types of this light. The base and an extension. You need 1 base, which includes the power supply. Then you add extension lamps into the string. The smarts are in each light. You can control them individually but you only need the base lamp to be connected to power. All the rest feed in a string from the base lamp.
I’m not sure why you’d do that. These lights are expensive!
Yes, they can be individual colors.
You can ask Siri for Warm White.
Yes, it can be on a deck with screws or a spike for the yard.
