WARNING

The following restrictions apply to the unit:
Do not use for commercial or industrial purposes.

Symbols on the unit 

The unit is dust-tight and water-tight down to 2 m.
The unit is dust-tight and protected for short-term immersion.
The unit has protection rating II and is securely disconnected from the power supply by a reinforced or double insulation.
The unit has protection rating III. Only operate the unit with safety-low voltage.
The unit includes a safety transformer supplying safety-low voltage on the secondary side.
The unit includes a fusible cut-out tripped when the permissible operating temperature is exceeded ( thermal protection).
Only operate the unit at a safe distance of at least 0.5 m from combustible materials.
Protect the unit from direct sunlight.
Do not dispose of the unit with normal household waste.

Electrical connection

• Special regulations apply for electrical installation in outdoor spaces. Only a qualified electrician may perform the electrical installation.

• Only use the transformer included in the scope of delivery.
• Only plug the unit into a correctly installed outlet.
• Only connect the unit if the electrical data of the unit and the power supply match.
• Ensure that the unit is protected via a fault current protection device with a rated fault current of max. 30 mA installed in the mains. If necessary, contact a qualified electrician.
• Protect open plugs and sockets from moisture.

Safe operation

• Do not look directly into the light source.
• Do not use the unit, if electrical lines or the housing are damaged.
• A damaged connection cable cannot be replaced. Dispose of the unit.
• Do not carry or pull the unit by its power cable.
• Route lines in such a way that they are protected from damage and do not present a tripping hazard.
• Should problems occur, please contact the authorised customer service or OASE.

Installation and connection

Position the transformer at least 2 m from the edge of the pond.

Connect the connection cable of the spotlight to the socket on the transformer and handtighten the union nut.

Switching ON/OFF

Switching on the unit: Plug the power plug of the transformer into the socket. The unit switches on immediately.
Switching off the unit: Disconnect the transformer power plug.

Maintenance and cleaning

NOTE
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions. These agents can damage the housing, impair the function of the device and harm animals, plants and the environment.
Clean the device only with clear water and a soft brush or sponge.
