325 Reclining Wheelchair
Product Information
The Reclining Wheelchair is a durable and versatile mobility
device designed to provide comfort and support for individuals with
limited mobility. It features a sturdy construction and various
adjustable components to accommodate different user needs.
- Back Upholstery: Provides support and comfort
for the user’s back. - Seat Rail: Offers stability and a secure
seating position. - Foot Plate: Provides a platform for the user’s
feet. - Caster: Four small wheels located at the front
of the wheelchair for maneuverability. - Headrest: Offers additional support and
comfort for the user’s head and neck. - Padded Armrest: Provides cushioning and
support for the user’s arms. - Wheel Locks: Two locks located on the rear
wheels to immobilize the wheelchair. - Rear Wheel: Two large pneumatic wheels located
at the back of the wheelchair for propulsion. - Capacity: The wheelchair can support a maximum
user weight of 136 kg.
Product Usage Instructions
Unfolding
- Open the wheelchair by tilting it to one side and pushing down
on the seat rails until it is fully open. - Install the rear stability bar and secure it with both knobs to
prevent accidental partial folding. - Attach the leg rests.
Folding
- Remove the leg rests.
- Unscrew the knob on the slotted end of the stability bar and
swing it down or remove it entirely. - Pull up on the front and back of the seat sling with both hands
until the wheelchair is completely folded.
Reclining
To change the angle of the backrest, follow these steps:
- Squeeze the handgrip levers to unlock.
- Adjust the angle of the backrest to the desired position.
- Release the handgrip levers to lock the backrest in place.
Removing the Armrests
To remove the armrests, follow these steps:
- Depress the spring button on the armrests.
- Lift the arms out of the front and rear sockets.
Attaching the Leg Rests
- Position the footrest so that it is pointing 90 degrees away
from the reclining chair, with the footrest platform pointing
forward when folded down. - Align the holes on the footrest with the footrest pegs on the
frame and gently press down until the footrest can swing
freely. - Swing the footrest until the footrest platform is pointing
inward and continue rotating until it locks in place (an audible
click will be heard). - Repeat steps 1-3 with the other footrest.
Removing Leg Rests
- Release the lock by pushing on the front rigging lever.
- Swing the footrest/leg rest out and sideways, then lift to
remove.
Adjusting the Length of Leg Rests
Note: The user should be sitting in the wheelchair with their
feet on the foot plates when adjusting the length of the leg
rests.
- Depress the spring button on the leg rest.
- Raise or lower the footplate to the desired position that
provides maximum support for the thighs. - Confirm that the spring button locks into position.
Note: The foot plate should not be so low that it causes
uncomfortable pressure on the thighs at the front of the seat
upholstery.
Elevating the Leg Rests
- Lift the footplate on the leg rest assembly to the desired
position. - Release the leg rest assembly, and it will automatically lock
into place. - To lower, push out on the leg rest lever and lower the
footplate to the desired position.
Locking the Wheels
Engage both wheel locks in the following situations: getting in
or out of the chair, leaning forward in the chair, or while in an
elevator or wheelchair lift. To engage the locks, push the handles
completely forward.
Installing Anti-tips
- Insert the anti-tips with the wheels curved down towards the
ground/floor until they lock into place. - Press the release buttons on the lower portion of the anti-tip
and slide it up or down to achieve proper ground clearance. - Ensure that both anti-tips are adjusted to the same setting and
the release buttons are fully engaged before use.
Important Note: Any adjustment to the seat
height of the product can affect its stability. It is highly
recommended to have a dealer or licensed technician adjust the seat
height to ensure safety.

Usage
Unfolding

Folding
1. Remove leg rests 2. Unscrew knob on slotted end of stability bar and swing down (or remove entirely). 3. Pull up on front and back of seat sling with both hands until completely folded
Reclining
To change the angle of the backrest in either direction, squeeze handgrip levers, adjust the angle, then release the handgrip levers to lock in place.
Removing the Armrests
Remove arms by depressing spring button and lifting arms out of front and rear sockets.

1. Position footrest so it is pointing 90 degrees away from the reclining chair (footrest platform should be pointing forward when folded down at this point). 2. Align the holes with the footrest pegs on the frame and gently press down until the footrest can swing freely. 3. Swing the footrest until the footrest platform is pointing inward. Continue with this rotation until the footrest locks in place. An audible click will be heard. 4. Repeat steps 1-3 with the other footrest.

NOTE: Foot plate should not be so low that it causes uncomfortable pressure to thighs at front of seat upholstery.

Safety
Stability This wheelchair is designed to be safe and stable as long as center of gravity is maintained while going about normal activities. Care must be taken while performing activities that shift your center of gravity in the chair. Never reach so far that you need to shift in the seat or bend over out of the chair. When you reaching for objects that require you to lean, be certain front casters are pointed in a forward position that extends the wheel base and stabilizes the chair.
Ramps Be sure of your own capabilities, limitations and strength before attempting to go up a ramp. Correct techniques on ramp navigation should be shown to you by a qualified professional. If you must stop on an incline, avoid sudden, abrupt movement when you resume movement. Backward angling of the chair or sudden abrupt movement could cause instability. Attempting to use the wheel lock brakes could result in accidental locking, tipping to one side, sudden stopping. Avoid
changing direction when going down an incline, as this could result in instability or tipping over. Never use your wheelchair on an incline steeper than 4.8°.
Care of the Wheelchair Always ensure that your wheelchair is dry after use to prevent corrosion. It should be regularly washed using warm water and a mild detergent. Dry after washing. Between uses the wheelcahir can be folded for storage.
Warranty
Loh Medical offers a 12 month warranty on the frame of this wheelchair. Any defective frame components will be replaced at no cost.
