BETA Skid Plate Installation Instructions

Skid Plate Install Instructions:
- Ensure that the vehicle is parked on a flat and stable
surface. - Gather all the necessary tools for the installation, including
a wrench, socket set, and screwdriver. - Locate the mounting points on the underside of the vehicle
where the skid plate will be installed. - Position the skid plate onto the mounting points, ensuring that
it aligns properly with the vehicle’s frame. - Secure the skid plate in place using the provided hardware,
such as bolts or screws, and tighten them securely. - Double-check that the skid plate is securely attached and does
not interfere with any other components of the vehicle. - Inspect the skid plate periodically for any signs of damage or
loosening. Tighten any loose hardware as necessary. - Disclaimer: The installation and use of this

Product Information:
The BETA Skid Plate (Part # 24-4020 & 24-4022) is a
protective accessory designed to safeguard the underside of your
vehicle from potential damage caused by rough terrains, rocks, or
other hazards. It is specifically designed for use with BETA
vehicles.
The skid plate is constructed from durable materials that
provide excellent resistance against impact and abrasion. Its
sturdy design ensures optimal protection for vital components such
as the engine, transmission, and fuel tank.
Please note that the skid plate is intended for off-road use and
may not be suitable for all vehicle models or conditions. Consult
the vehicle’s manufacturer or a professional to ensure
compatibility before installation.
BETA SKID PLATE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Use an 8mm wrench and/or socket to remove the two bolts holding on the OEM plastic skid plate. (fig. 1 and 1.1) 2. Using the provided 6x25mm hex head bolt, install the rear section of the skid plate to the rear mount on the frame do not tighten at this time. (fig 2) 3. Using the provided 6x16mm hex head bolt, install the front protection plate do not tighten at this time. (fig 3) 4. Install the provided front mounting bracket into position. Install between the frame rails and engine cases by sliding one end up between the engine case and frame with the longer side to the throttle side of the bike, then pulled back so that the bracket rests on both frame rails. (fig 4 and 4.1) 5. Position the EE skid plate up against the frame and the front protection plate of the skid plate. Using the two provided 8x45mm flat head bolts, fasten the plate to the front bracket, and do not tighten at this time. (fig. 5) 6. Starting from the rear of the bike to the front tighten all bolts, while pressing the plate up against the bike. 7. Have fun and ride safe!
