Safety Tips
- Position on a flat, stable surface.
- A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not remove any components on this product.

– Building Regulations - The inner bowl and the heating plate on the underside of the appliance become hot during operation –
DO NOT TOUCH!
- DO NOT allow to boil dry or use without water in the outer pan.
- Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance when not in use.
- Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance with the regulations of local authorities.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an OLYMPIA agent or a recommended qualified technician in order to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- OLYMPIA recommends that this product is connected to a circuit protected by an appropriate RCD (Residual Current Device).
- OLYMPIA recommends that this appliance should be periodically tested (at least annually) by a Competent Person. Testing should include, but not be limited to: Visual Inspection, Polarity Test, Earth Continuity, Insulation Continuity, and Functional Testing.

OLYMPIA prides itself on quality and service, ensuring that at the time of packaging the contents are supplied fully functional and free of damage.
Should you find any damage as a result of transit, please contact your OLYMPIA dealer immediately.
Operation
Before turning on ensure the heating plate is securely attached to the underside of the appliance.
- Lift the lid and remove the inner bowl.
- Fill the outer pan with hot water.
WARNING: Ensure the water level is between the ‘MIN’ and ‘MAX’ levels. - Place the food in the inner bowl and replace the bowl in the outer pan.
- Turn on the appliance at the mains power supply.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
Always turn off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
- Use soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the appliance.
- DO NOT immerse the appliance in water.
- The inner bowl can be removed and cleaned with warm, soapy water.
- At no point must the heating plate come into contact with water.
- Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
Fitting/Removing the Heating Plate
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool.
WARNING: Failure to allow the appliance to cool could result in burns! - Remove the inner bowl.
- Lift the lid/outer pan section from the frame and place it gently on its side.
- Unscrew the four nuts securing the heating plate to the underside of the appliance and remove the heating plate.
- Fitting is a reversal of the above procedure.

Troubleshooting

| Foodstuffs do not stay warm | The heating plate has become loose | Disconnect from the power supply. Allow the heating plate to cool and tighten the nuts |
| No water in the outer pan | Fill the outer pan with HOT water no higher than MAX level | |
| The lid is not fully closed | Close lid |

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3-pin BS1363 plug and lead.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable main socket.
OLYMPIA appliances are wired as follows:
- Live wire (colored brown) to the terminal marked L
- Neutral wire (colored blue) to the terminal marked N
- Earth wire (colored green/yellow) to terminal marked E
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency disconnection being required, they must be readily accessible.

To help prevent possible harm to human health and/or the environment, the product must be disposed of in an approved and environmentally safe recycling process.
