PZ-100SS-E Straight Silencer
This silencer is installed in the middle of ducting (between the ventilator and outlet/intake grilles) to reduce noise.
- Be sure to read this manual before starting installation to ensure correct and safe installation.
- Installation must be performed by dealers and qualified professional contractors.

Notes before installation
Do not install this product in the kitchen or bathroom, and use it for exhaust from these places. High humidity and lots of oil smoke may damage the product.
- Install between grilles and ventilators.
- Make an inspection opening below the duct connecting parts.

Example of installation
Example of the installation procedure
- Embed commercially available anchor bolts at the installation positions in advance.
- Pass the straight silencer through commercially available suspending bands. Pass the straight silencer through the anchor bolts, then fix the silencer with commercially available nuts and washers.
- Insert the ducts into the duct connecting ports of the straight silencer, then fix them with commercially available drill screws at least one for each connecting point. Apply caulk or tape on the perimeter of the ducts so that the air will not leak.
