Product Information: Batten Plug-In PIR Sensor
The Batten Plug-In PIR Sensor is a light fitting that is
designed to detect motion and trigger the connected light source.
The product comes in two variants: 103022 and 103023. The product
is manufactured in the UK by BH17 7BY and in the EU by Brilliant
AG, Brilliantstrasse 1, D-27442 Gnarrenburg. The product has an
area of high sensitivity and an area of lower sensitivity. The
product operates at a voltage of 220-240V AC and has a maximum load
capacity of 1200W (incandescent/halogen) and 300W (LED).
Product Usage Instructions:
Before using the Batten Plug-In PIR Sensor, please read the
instruction manual carefully to ensure safe and satisfactory
operation of the product. Please retain the instruction manual for
future reference.
1. Turn off the power supply to the light fitting before
installation.
2. Insert the Batten Plug-In PIR Sensor into the light fitting
and ensure it is securely attached.
3. Connect the brown wire from the Batten Plug-In PIR Sensor to
the live wire (brown or red) from the light fitting.
4. Connect the blue wire from the Batten Plug-In PIR Sensor to
the neutral wire (blue or black) from the light fitting.
5. Turn on the power supply to the light fitting.
6. Adjust the sensitivity and duration settings of the Batten
Plug-In PIR Sensor as required.
Note: The Batten Plug-In PIR Sensor has an area of high
sensitivity and an area of lower sensitivity. The area of high
sensitivity detects motion from up to 12m away, while the area of
lower sensitivity detects motion from up to 6m away. The duration
of the light source can be adjusted between 10 seconds and 7
minutes.
7. Test the Batten Plug-In PIR Sensor by walking in front of the
light fitting. The connected light source should turn on and stay
on for the duration set.
8. If the Batten Plug-In PIR Sensor does not function as
expected, please refer to the troubleshooting section of the
instruction manual.
