PLEASE NOTE

1. Do not disassemble any part of the product.

3. For service and problems of any kind, contact qualified Gold Note personnel.
4. Protect the product from rain, humidity and keep away from heat sources, electric and electronic motors etc. The power cord supplied must be used only on this unit.
5. Gold Note does not have responsibility for any improper use of this unit.

GENERIC INFORMATION
Read these instructions and store them.
Heed all warnings.
Follow the instructions.
Do not use this apparatus near water.
Clean only with a dry cloth.
Do not block the ventilation openings and install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Do not install near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarised or grounding-type plug: a polarised plug hastwo blades with one wider than the other.
A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety.
If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus.
When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel only. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way (such as when the power cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture) and in any case when the apparatus does not operate normally or has been dropped.
This appliance has a serial number located on the rear panel.
Please record the model and serial number and retain them for your records.

INTRODUCTION AND FEATURES

PSU-10 (FOR THE PH-10)
The PSU-10 is a super inductive power supply designed exclusively for the PH-10 phono stage.
The PSU-10 has been engineered with the best quality audio-grade components to enhance the performance of the PH-10 and improve even further your system: with the
dedicated external power supply you will get the very best music experience out of your LPs.
For the PSU-10 we have chosen a dual choke design powered by a double inductor driving the negative and positive high-current stages and featuring an inductive filter on the analogue stage.
The PSU-10 delivers pure high-quality power using 4 transformers 3 of which are dedicated exclusively to the power supply while a separated transformer feeds the inductive filter and the two chokes.
The Gold Note proprietary Dual Choke Design perfectly filters the signal voltages to eliminate all electrical pollution.
The PSU-10 uses its massive power supply to shield the PH-10 phono stage from electromagnetic interference (EMI) thus insulating it effectively from the power system.
The ultra-clean power improves the soundstage achieving better dynamics and finer resolution of details for unmatched audio performance and listening pleasure.
PSU-10 EVO (FOR THE DS-10)
The PSU-10 EVO is an inductive power supply designed and developed with highquality audio components to enhance the performance of e of the DS-10 (DS-10/PLUS, DS-10 EVO/LINE).
The PSU-10 EVO comes in compact dimensions but delivers a great amount of power to bring you to a new level of musical pleasure and leverages unique features, including:
The Dual Choke Hybrid technology inductive filter
A 4-transformer design with three transformers dedicated to the power supply
The ultra-low-noise linear voltage regulators
PSU-10 EVO guarantees clean energy to optimally power your DS-10, creating the ideal environment for the DS-10 to perform to the best.
Adding the PSU-10 EVO to your system will increase the level of detail and realism of your music, achieving better dynamics, finer resolution of details and more controlled power.
PLEASE NOTE
The PSU-10 EVO is not compatible with the PH-10 Phono Stage.

QUICK START

Installing the PSU-10/PSU-10 EVO is simple and takes only a few quick steps:

1. Turn OFF the unit and remove the power cord.
2. Connect the external PSU to the power outlet using the supplied power cord.
3. Connect the external PSU to the unit using the supplied cable (from PSU OUT to the PSU connector of the unit).
4. Turn on the MASTER SWITCH on the rear panel of the external PSU.

INSTALLING THE PSU-10 AND PSU-10 EVO
For the best performance, we suggest to place the PSU on the lefthand side with around 10/20cm of space between the units. Please avoid stacking the units on top of each other if possible.GND SIGNAL GROUND
Every system operates in unique conditions due to the electrical interaction between different products and the electrical wiring and the GND connector on the PSU-10/ PSU-10 EVO allows you to try different configurations.
If the are signs of EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) or RFI (Radio-Frequency  Interference), please try to connect the GND posts of the PH-10/DS-10 and the PSU.
MASTER-SLAVE MODE
All our PSUs are designed to work in “Master-Slave Mode” with other Gold Note units.
When you turn ON or put in standby the master unit (such as DS-10 or PH-10) the PSU-10 or PSU-10 EVO will do the same so that you don’t have to control every unit manually.
To turn completely OFF the PSU-10 or PSU10 EVO, follow these steps:

1. Turn OFF the MASTER SWITCH of the master unit (such as DS-10 or PH-10).
2. Turn OFF the MASTER SWITCH of PSU10 or PSU-10 EVO.

ATTENTION
When the master switch of PSU-10 and PSU- 10 EVO is ON/Standby, the status LED is Blue.

We recommend to register the unit on our internet website within 15 days from the purchase at
www.goldnote.it/product-registration If the unit is not registered correctly or has been purchased from a different country of the purchaser home address the unit will not be covered by any warranty and the registration will be refused.
Please note that the warranty does not cover in any case: Tubes, Phono Cartridge Stylus and Batteries.
WARRANTY
All Gold Note products come with a warranty against defective materials and workmanship.
Any service and inspection must be carried out by a Gold Note dealer or distributor so in case you need any assistance with this product, please contact the seller.

WARNING
Gold Note products should only be opened, serviced and inspected by certified Gold Note technicians and dealers. Work performed by unqualified personnel may cause serious damage or personal injury.  Opening of the product by non-authorised personnel will void the guarantee.

TROUBLESHOOTING

CLEANING THE UNIT

With EXTREME care use ONLY water or detergents for delicate surfaces with a very soft cloth to sweep dust and remove stains.
Any acid or not extremely soft cloth will irreversibly damage the unit fine aesthetic. Do not use alcohol.
