Product Usage Instructions

To use the Easy to Install Liquid Level Alarm System, follow
these steps:

1. Ensure that the product is intended for indoor use only.
2. Connect the power line to a suitable power source to reduce the
   possibility of shock.
3. Select the appropriate model based on your voltage requirement
   (120VAC or 230VAC).
4. If using a float switch, connect it to the designated float
   switch connection terminal. Note that no power should be applied to
   this terminal.
5. Place the alarm enclosure in a suitable location, ensuring it
   is mounted securely.
6. Ensure the alarm horn is positioned properly to achieve a sound
   level of 86 decibels at a distance of 10 feet.
7. Connect the power cord to the power source.
8. If required, use the provided splice kit for any necessary
   connections.
9. Ensure the cable is properly connected and has a length of 15
   feet.
10. Ensure the maximum water depth does not exceed 30 feet and the
    pressure does not exceed 13 psi.
11. Verify that the electrical specifications match your
    requirements (5 amps, 125 VAC/250 VAC, 50/60 Hz).

TANK ALERT® I ALARM SYSTEM
Easy to Install Liquid Level Alarm System for Indoor Use
This alarm system monitors liquid levels in lift pump chambers, sump pump basins, holding tanks, sewage, agricultural, and other water applications. The Tank Alert® I alarm system can serve as a high or low level alarm depending on the float switch model used. The alarm horn sounds when a potentially threatening liquid level condition occurs. The horn can be silenced, but the warning light remains on until the condition is remedied. A green “power on” light indicates power to the alarm panel.

The Tank Alert® I alarm system comes standard with a 15 foot SJE SignalMaster® control switch with mounting clamp. Other float switches are available. See control switch section of the catalog. To determine the price of alarm with an alternate float, add the price of the part number with “no float” to the price of the float switch.
