Directions for Use – Read Warnings before Use
Application
Each time, before you attach the electrodes to your skin:
- Be sure the stimulator is turned off.
- Insert pins of lead wire from the stimulator into electrode wire connectors.
- Remove electrodes from the protective liner by lifting at edge of electrodes and peel from the liner. Keep protective liner in storage bag after removing.
- Clean skin thoroughly. Electrodes do not stick to skin with lotion, oil, make-up, dirt, etc. Leave skin moist prior to application.
- Apply electrodes firmly to skin. Adhesion improves if skin is at room temperature.
Removal after Use
- Before removing electrodes from skin, turn the stimulator off.
- Lift edge of electrodes and peel from skin. Do not pull on the lead wires as you may damage electrodes.
- Place electrodes on liner and gently remove lead wire by twisting and pulling at the same time.
Care and Storage
- Store electrodes in the resealable bag in a cool, dry place.
- Life of electrodes will be extended if you follow the application and storage directions shown above.
Important Warnings
- CAUTION: Federal law restricts this device to sale by, or on the order of, a physician or licensed practitioner.
- Do not share electrodes with anyone else.
- Set up and use stimulator based on instructions from any health care professional and the stimulator manufacturer.
- Do not attach electrodes to skin if it has a rash, skin irritation or broken skin. If any of these occur during use, stop using and contact your physician.
- Do not use while driving a motorized vehicle or operating machinery.
- Electrodes do not have natural latex components.
