ACCESSORIES INSTALLATION
If you do not find a C-clip in your can, please follow the steps below to install the C-clips before starting to install the downlight.
PRODUCT PARTS
- Turn off circuit breaker that provides power to the light switch for the recessed lights.
- Thread the Socket Aadapter into the socket.
- Plug the female connector of the retrofit trim onto the male connector of the socket adapter assembly.
- Plug the female cable connector on the socket adapter into the male connector on the LED light module.
- If using torison springs, squeeze both torsion arms together and insert into the torsion springs slots (or c-clips) of the can. Tuck all wires into the can and carefully push the LED downlight into the can until trim is flush with the ceiling surface.
(Note: to provide enough room in shallow cans carefully position SOCKET ADAPTER and SOCKET adjacent to the side of the LED DRIVER prior to inserting the RETROFIT TRIM into the CAN). - Turn power on at source and test the lights.
