Specifications

  • Outer shell: 90% polyester, 10% spandex
  • Inner shell: 100% polyester
  • Controller button offers 3 temperature settings with a pre-heat function

Operation

  • To turn the power on, press and hold the button for 1-2 seconds. The glove will be turned to the High temperature setting and the red LED light will turn on.
  • The temperature settings can be adjusted at any time by pressing the power button.
  • To turn off the heated glove, press and hold the power button in 1-2 seconds and the LED will turn off.
  • If the heated gloves turn off unexpectedly, check connections or charge the battery pack.
  • If gloves gets too hot, take them off and turn them off. Let them cool down.

Battery Connection

  • When inserting the battery, slide the pack into the body of the battery controller. Then, insert the power cable into the power cable port on the battery controller. Finally, place the battery controller into the pocket and zip it closed.
  • Includes 2 pcs 3.7 V 2000 MA Lithium batteries, the battery lasts 2.5-4 hours.
  • When removing the battery, push in the release buttons and pull the battery pack away from the controller.

Safety

  • Use the heated gloves in accordance with the product’s manual.
  • Stay alert when using the heated gloves.
  • Proper heat will keep the customer’s hands dry and comfortable while too much heat will cause hands to be sweaty and lead to potential danger.
  • Shut off power immediately as discomfort occurs.
  • Do not use the heated gloves if inner lining is wet.
  • Do not expose heated gloves to rain or wet conditions.
  • Do not use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging heated glove.
  • Do not use the heated gloves if power button has malfunctioned.
  • Disconnect the battery pack from the heated gloves when not in use.
  • Store the heated glove out of reach of children or other people not familiar in using it.
  • Do not use heated gloves with an infant.
  • Check for breakage of parts. It may affect the operation of the heated gloves.
  • Use designated battery packs for the heated gloves.
  • Recharge the heated gloves only as specified by the manufacturer.
  • Keep batteries in safe place when not in use.
  • Avoid contact to eyes if liquid starts to leak from batteries. If it occurs, flush eyes immediately with water and seek help from a medical professional.

General Product Safety Warning

Electrical Safety

  • Do not expose heated clothing to rain or wet conditions. Water will increase the risk of electric shock
  • Do not abuse the power cable. Never use the cord to pull, carry or drag; to pull and unplug the heated clothing. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts
  • Stay Alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when using the heated clothing. Do not use while you are too tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention may result in serious personal injury.

Product Use & Care

  • Do not use the heated clothing if the power button does not turn on and off. Any heated clothing (assuming battery is charged) that does not turn on has a faulty piece and can potentially be dangerous and must be repaired.
  • Disconnect the battery from the pouch before storing. Preventive safety as such reduces the risk of starting the heated clothing accidentally.
  • Store out of the reach of children and do not allow persons who are unfamiliar with these instructions to use the heated clothing.
  • Consistently maintain and check the heated clothing for any rips, breaks, loose parts and any condition that may cause the heating element and process to break. Loose wires or shaky parts are dangerous, and if damaged, they need to be repaired before use.
  • Recharge the battery only with the charger provided and specified by the manufacturer. Many chargers look the same but don’t perform the same and you don’t want to risk your battery or health using the wrong one.
  • Use heated clothing only with the provided, tested and certified battery, and not any other. Using another battery may increase the risk of injury or fire.

Specific Safety Rules

  • Do not use this heated clothing with an infant, child, a helpless person or anyone insensitive to heat, such as persons with poor blood conditions
  • If you have a medical condition making you sensitive to overheating, or you use any personal medical devices, consult the device manufacturer and/or your physician to determine if use of this product is appropriate
  • Never use if inside liner is wet
  • Never use if inner liner is ripped and heating element can touch the skin
  • Shut off power immediately if you feel it is too hot or if any discomfort
  • Do not allow cords to get pinched
  • If improper operation occurs, remove and contact Stay Warm Apparel for repair.
  • Do not attach pins or any other object to the heated clothing as this might rip the heating element and poses additional risk

Care

  • Before washing, remove and disconnect all batteries. Push the power cord back into the pocket and close it
  • Machine wash, gentle cycle, warm water
  • Tumble dry, low heat
  • Do not bleach, Do not iron, Do not wring or twist
  • Do not dry clean or use dry cleaning fluid. Cleaning solvents may have a deteriorating effect on the insulation and heating elements

How to Use

  • Unzip pocket to insert battery and Insert battery and connect to cord
  • Find the power button and hold down to activate heating element
  • Red is high heat
  • Blue is medium heat
  • Green is low heat

Additional Safety instructions

  • Do not incinerate the battery pack even if it is severely damaged or is completely worn out. The battery can explode in a fire. Toxic fumes and materials are created when lithium ion battery packs are burned.
  • If inside battery contents come into contact with skin, immediately wash area with mild soap and water. If battery contents gets into eyes, wash eyes with water for 15 minutes or until irritation ceases. If medical attention is required, the battery electrolyte is composed of a mixture of liquid organic carbonated and lithium cells.
  • Fire Hazard: never attempt to open the battery! If the battery is cracked or damaged do not insert into the charger. Do not crush, drop or damage the battery. Do not use a charger that has received a sharp blow, been dropped, run over or damaged in any way.
