I know of no work around that will allow these headphones to work on anything other than a computer. If you find a work around keep in mind the core is 6′ so not a lot for watching TV.
The best bet is a Bluetooth device (which is what I use) from the aux out to a headset.
there’s an app I use called hear boost it has a voice filter. So far no outside noise has been recorded while using the headphones.
From my experience, they are noise reduction.
