Product Information: Alvin Wall
The Alvin Wall is a lighting fixture suitable for damp
locations. It is available in both incandescent and LED versions.
The incandescent version can be dimmed with a standard incandescent
dimmer, while the LED version can be dimmed with a LED dimmer. The
fixture should be installed using an NEC compliant junction box and
must be installed by a person familiar with the construction and
operation of the product and the hazards involved. The product has
a mounting plate, socket, shade collar nut spacer, shade tool, and
cap nut for easy installation.
Product Usage Instructions: Installation of Alvin Wall
- Secure the mounting plate to the junction box.
- Connect the fixture to a suitable ground in accordance with
local electrical codes. - Connect the white fixture wire to the neutral power line wire
with a wire nut. - Connect the black fixture wire to the hot power line wire with
a wire nut. - Neatly place the wires into the junction box, place the fixture
onto the mounting studs, and secure it in place by screwing the cap
nuts onto the studs. - Place the shade, then the spacer on to the socket and secure
them in place by screwing the shade collar nut onto the socket
using the shade tool. Do not over tighten. If necessary, repeat for
all the other shades. - Screw the lamp(s) into the socket(s). Refer to the label on the
socket for Max Wattage Information.
