Hoto Qwsdt002 Flashlight User Manual (+ PDF)

Thank you for using HOTO FLASHLIGHT DUO. This product has a
tactical head, mode switching head, battery indicator, ON/OFF
button, sidelight, Type-C charging port, magnetic base, and
hook.

Tactical Head

The tactical head is used for long-distance illumination.

Mode Switching Head

The mode switching head is used to switch between the flashlight
mode, work light mode, and mood light mode. Rotate the head to
align the mode sign on the head with the indicator on the
casing.

Battery Indicator

The battery indicator shows the battery status when powered ON
and when connected to the charging cable.

ON/OFF Button

The ON/OFF button is used to turn ON/OFF the flashlight and
switch between different modes. In any of the modes, pressing and
holding ON/OFF for three seconds turns on a strobe light, following
short presses will turn on the SOS mode; a third press turns off
the flashlight.

Sidelight

The sidelight has four switchable light effects and is mainly
used as work lighting and emergency warning. In mood light mode, it
is used to create ambience.

Type-C Charging Port

The Type-C charging port is used to charge the product. When the
product is being charged, only low brightness is available for the
flashlight while the sidelight functions normally.

Magnetic Base

The magnetic base allows the whole product to attach to any
magnetic surface composed of iron or nickel.

Hook

The hook is used to hang the product on any place which fits in
the hook.

How to Use

This product has three modes: flashlight mode, work light mode,
and mood light mode. Follow the instructions below to use the
product:

Mode Switching Head

Rotate the mode switching head to switch between different
modes. There are three switchable modes: The flashlight mode, the
work light mode, and the mood light mode.

Flashlight Mode

Short pressing the ON/OFF button switches modes from low
brightness to medium brightness to high brightness and then to
power off.

Work Light Mode

Short pressing the ON/OFF button switches modes from low
brightness to high brightness to red flashing light to yellow
flashing light and then to power off.

Mood Light Mode

Short pressing the ON/OFF button switches modes from warm light
to breathing warm light to campfire to colorful light and then to
power off.

Battery Indicator Status

The battery indicator shows different colors for different
battery statuses. Flashing red light indicates 0-10%, red light
indicates 10%-30%, orange light indicates 30%-60%, and green light
indicates 60%-100%. When connected to the charging cable, charging
is indicated by a breathing red light, and charged is indicated by
a green light. In mood light mode, the indicator would turn off in
5 seconds if battery status is between 10%-100%.

Warning

Follow the instructions in this User Guide to correctly use the
tool. Do not disassemble this product. Only authorized repairmen
are allowed to repair this product.

02 How to Use
This product has three modes. Please rotate the mode switching head to switch the mode.
Flashlight mode : In this mode, the flashlight is on with three switchable brightness levels. This mode is mainly used for long-distance illumination. Work light mode : In this mode, the sidelight is on with four switchable light effects. This mode is mainly used as work lighting and emergency warning.
Mood light mode : In this mode, the sidelight is on with four switchable light effects. This mode is mainly used for create ambience.
Mode switching head
Rotate the head to align the mode sign on the head with the indicator on the casing. There are three switchable modes: The flashlight mode, the work light mode, and the mood light mode.
If you rotate the mode switching head to any mode in the “ON” status, the first gear of the corresponding mode is turned on: 1. Flashlight mode: Low white light 2. Work light mode: Low white light 3. Mood light mode: Warm light 3. Sidelight ambient mode: Continuous warm light
If you rotate the mode switching head to any mode in the “OFF” status, the flashlight remains off.

Charging
When the product is being charged: flashlight: Only low brightness is available; sidelight: Functions normally.
Plug the charging cable into the Type-C charging port to charge the product.
Note: This product is equipped with a Type-C charging cable.
Battery indicator status
When powered ON: Flashing red light: 0-10% Red light: 10%-30% Orange light: 30%-60% Green light: 60%-100%
When connected to the charging cable: Charging: Breathing red light Charged: Green light
In mood light mode, the indicator would turn off in 5 seconds if battery status between 10%-100%

Magnetic base The magnetic base allows the whole product to attach to any magnetic surface composed of iron or nickel.
Hook Pull out and rotate the hook, then hang on any place which fit in the hook. Rotate the hook back to the slot.

Band
When the band is wrapped around a cylindrical object such as the tarp stand, the flashlight can be attached to the object through its built-in magnet.
When the band is not used, it can be wrapped around the product for storage.

Safety precautions
Proper use Please follow the instructions in this User Guide to correctly use the tool. Repair services Do not disassemble this product. In order to avoid safety hazards, only authorized repairmen are allowed to repair this product.
Charging instructions 1. This product can only be charged with a charger that meets its charging parameters. 2. If the battery indicator does not work properly during charging because this product has not been used for a long period of time, please charge it for 30 minutes for observation.
Precautions 1. This product can emit a strong light, please avoid directing the light at people’s or animals’ eyes and optical lenses; 2. Children are not allowed to use this product alone; 3. In order to reduce electric shock risks, do not place this product in water or other liquids; 4. Do not place or store this product in places where it may fall into a bathtub or sink; 5. In order to reduce burn risks, do not touch the head as its temperature may be high when the strobe lighting mode is turned on for a long time.

Warnings
1. Please charge this product with a charger that meets its charging parameters. Other types of chargers and accessories may violate the warranty and be dangerous. 2. When the high brightness mode is turned on for 15 minutes, the temperature of this product may rise by about 20°C. Therefore, users who are sensitive to temperature should take heat insulation precautions. (After 25 minutes, the temperature will gradually drop.) 3. If the detected battery temperature reaches 45°C, the charging protection function will be automatically triggered, and the charging will be discontinued. The recommended ambient temperature for charging is 0°C-30°C.
