NON-IC – A luminaire shall under no circumstances be covered or abutted with building insulation. Definition: Building insulation must not cover or come into contact with any part of the luminaire. For indoor use only. If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced This luminaire must be installed by a qualified Registered Electrician to prevent damage to the luminaire and maintain electrical safety.

Halcyon accepts no responsibility if the timber used is not treated correctly and dries out, crack or warps over time due to the constant low heat from the aforementioned “Non IC Rated” LED recessed lighting.
