POS901 is a transmitter designed to transmit positions to KNOP 901 series products. These products can be set to different operating modes when a position is received.
The POS901/POS901L requires the advanced settings of the product to be set during installation and commissioning. Please check the Knoptool manual and the POS901/POS901L installation manual.
POS901/POS901L requires no subsequent operation or adjustment.
POS901 has a built-in antenna and POS901L is used for a loop antenna, e.g. outdoors under a pavement.
Indicator
The product’s LED can show the following:
- Lights green when POS901/POS901L is running under normal conditions.
- Flashes green when POS901/POS901L is being calibrated.
- Lights yellow when POS901/POS901L has reduced power, e.g. too hot.
- Flashes red when POS901/POS901L is faulty – contact your retailer or Knop Elektronik.
- Flashes rapidly red when POS901/POS901L is connected to KnopTool.
Note that the indicator can be turned off in advanced settings (see the KnopTool manual), but not in case of error.

The product can be cleaned with a moist cloth or a wet wipe.
