    Safety Information
WARNING: The Globe passenger handlebar provides a stable place for passengers to hold and is not intended or designed to be used as a backrest.
WARNING! The Globe passenger handlebar is intended for use on Globe bicycles only.
When using the passenger handlebar with the passenger seat pad, position the seat pad first, then position the passenger handlebar as close to the front of the seat pad as possible.
WARNING! Before your first ride and regularly thereafter, ensure the passenger handlebar bolts are tightened to specification.
WARNING: The area where you ride may require specific safety devices. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the laws of the area where you ride and to comply with all applicable laws, including properly equipping yourself, your passengers, and your bicycle as the law requires.
WARNING: You and your passenger must always wear a cycling helmet that meets the latest certification standards and is appropriate for the type of riding you do. Most serious bicycle injuries involve head injuries that might have been avoided if the rider had worn an appropriate helmet.
WARNING! Riding with passenger on your bicycle affects the handling by altering the center of gravity, weight, and balance. It may also negatively impact your cornering ability, increase your necessary stopping distance, and reduce your ability to slow down and maneuver, especially at higher speeds or down a steep grade. All of this can result in a loss of control, potentially causing serious injury and/or death. You should also become familiar with and practice riding with the passenger in a controlled environment away from traffic.
