Product Usage Instructions:

1. Safety:

1.1. Electrical Safety:

  • Before using the product, check all electrical equipment and
    appliances to ensure they are safe. Inspect power supply leads,
    plugs, and all electrical connections for wear and damage.
  • Sealey recommends using a Residual Current Device (RCD) with
    all electrical products.
  • If the product is used for business purposes, it must be
    maintained in a safe condition and routinely Portable Appliance
    Test (PAT) tested.
  • Ensure the insulation on all cables and the appliance is safe
    before connecting it to the power supply.
  • Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or
    damage. Check all connections to ensure they are secure.
  • Make sure the voltage rating on the appliance matches the power
    supply being used. Check that the plug is fitted with the correct
    fuse (refer to fuse rating in the instructions).
  • Do not pull or carry the appliance by the power cable. Remove
    the plug from the socket by maintaining a firm grip on the
    plug.
  • Do not use worn or damaged cables, plugs, or connectors. Any
    faulty item should be repaired or replaced immediately by a
    qualified electrician.
  • This product is fitted with a BS1363/A 3-pin plug. If the cable
    or plug is damaged during use, switch off the electricity supply
    and remove it from use. Replace a damaged plug with a BS1363/A
    3-pin plug. If in doubt, contact a qualified electrician.
  • Class II products are wired with live (brown) and neutral
    (blue) wires only. They are marked with the Class II symbol. Follow
    the wiring instructions provided.
  • Ensure that there are no bare wires and all wires have been
    correctly connected after wiring. Make sure the cable outer sheath
    extends inside the cable restraint and that the restraint is
    tight.
  • Recommended fuse rating: 13 Amp. Sealey recommends that repairs
    are carried out by a qualified electrician.

    use it outdoors or for commercial or industrial purposes.
  • Do not immerse the unit, plug, or cord in water or spray them
    with liquids.
  • Do not place vases or similar objects filled with liquids near
    the product.

Follow these instructions carefully to ensure safe and proper
usage of the Air Cooler/Purifier/Humidifier (Model No: SAC04).
Failure to do so may result in damage or personal injury and will
invalidate the warranty.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

WARNING! It is the user’s responsibility to check the following:

Check all electrical equipment and appliances to ensure that they are safe before using. Inspect power supply leads, plugs and

all electrical connections for wear and damage. Sealey recommend that an RCD (Residual Current Device) is used with all electrical

products.

If the product is used in the course of business duties, it must be maintained in a safe condition and routinely PAT (Portable

Appliance Test) tested.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY INFORMATION. It is important that the following information is read and understood.

Ensure that the insulation on all cables and on the appliance is safe before connecting it to the power supply.

Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or damage and check all connections to ensure that they are secure.

IMPORTANT!: Ensure that the voltage rating on the appliance suits the power supply to be used and that the plug is fitted with the

correct fuse – see fuse rating in these instructions.

DO NOT pull or carry the appliance by the power cable.

DO NOT pull the plug from the socket by the cable. Remove the plug from the socket by maintaining a firm grip on the plug.

DO NOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs or connectors. Ensure that any faulty item is repaired or replaced immediately by a

qualified electrician.

This product is fitted with a BS1363/A 3 pin plug.

If the cable or plug is damaged during use, switch off the electricity supply and remove from use.

Replace a damaged plug with a BS1363/A 3 pin plug. If in doubt contact a qualified electrician.

Class II products are wired with live (brown) and neutral (blue) only are marked with the

Class II symbol;

A) Connect the BROWN live wire to the live terminal `L’.

B) Connect the BLUE neutral wire to the neutral terminal `N’.

C) After wiring, check that there are no bare wires and ensure that all wires have been correctly

connected.

Ensure that the cable outer sheath extends inside the cable restraint and that the restraint is tight.

Recommended fuse rating

DO NOT connect either wire to the earth terminal.

GENERAL SAFETY

Only use as described in this manual.

This product is intended for indoor household use ONLY. DO NOT use outdoors or for commercial or industrial purposes.

DO NOT immerse the unit , plug or cord in water or spray with liquids. DO NOT place vases or similar objects filled with liquids near

or on the unit.

DO NOT use the unit within the immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtubs, wash bowls, swimming pools etc. where the

likelihood of immersion or splashing could occur.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Turn the unit off and unplug it from the mains when not in use, when moving the unit from one location to another and before

maintenance or cleaning.

This product is not intended for use by persons, including children, with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of

experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person

responsible for their safety.

DO NOT operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable liquids and gases.

DO NOT use the unit near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliance.

DO NOT operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if the product malfunctions or is damaged in any way.

Avoid contact with moving parts. DO NOT insert anything through the grill when the unit is operating.

Place the unit on a dry level surface to avoid spillage or overturning.

DO NOT operate if the housing is damaged.

DO NOT cover the grill, or operate in close proximity to curtains etc. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.

If the mains lead is damaged it must be replaced by a suitably qualified person.

If the unit is not working properly contact a qualified technician for repair. Never attempt to dismantle the unit.

a. Heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other products that produce heat

DO NOT withdraw the water tank while the unit is plugged in.

NOTE: In the interest of hygiene it is recommended that the water tank is drained every three days via the drain provided in the

bottom of the water tank (fig.2.6) and fresh water used to replenish it.

NOTE: This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance

in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance

shall not be made by children without supervision.

2. INTRODUCTION

Multifunction three-in-one unit comprising air cooler, air purifier and humidifier with active carbon filter. Features three-speed fan

and adjustable airflow direction. A 4ltr water tank supplied with two ice packs enables refrigerant-free cooling by evaporating water.

Mounted on castors for manoeuvrability.

5. ASSEMBLY

FIT WHEELS Install wheels before use. Turn cooler upside down onto a soft mat, to protect it, gently push all 4 wheels into the base.

FILL WATER TANK (fig.2.6) WARNING! Disconnect from mains supply before filling the water tank. IMPORTANT! DO NOT use water with any chemical additives added. Water must be cold or lukewarm. DO NOT use water above 40°C. Fill tank to the maximum mark (2.5l). If using ice blocks reduce water volume accordingly. USING THE ICE BLOCKS (OPTIONAL) There are two ice blocks included that can be used for extra cooling effect, if desired. IMPORTANT: Use only clean water for filling the ice blocks. DO NOT fill water above the maximum marking. The ice blocks are not food safe, DO NOT use for storing food or beverages.
Keep away from children.
Empty the water and dry out the ice blocks before storage.
Open the cap, add clean water up to the maximum level marking, close and place in your freezer for a few hours.
Once frozen, the ice blocks can be added to the water tank.

NOTE: Make sure that the water level in the tank does not go above the `MAX’ level indicated on the scale marking. Once water is filled, take extra care to ensure that you DO NOT tilt the cooler. Keep the unit on a flat, stable ground without any obstacles near it when operating or moving it. Connect to the mains supply.

CONTROL PANEL (fig.3) SPEED Select the relevant speed button to start the unit. There are three options ­ Low, Medium or High. SWING Press this button to start or stop louvre oscillation from left to right. HUMIDIFIER To begin humidification press the labelled button. NOTE: The fan needs to be running before either swing or humidifier functions operate. INTERNAL LOUVRES Vertical adjustment of air stream angle can be achieved by using the small levers on the right hand side of the front grille (fig.1.2).

WARNING! Disconnect from mains supply before removing the filters or carrying out any cleaning or maintenance. DO NOT use harsh detergents or chemical cleaners or solvents as they may damage the surface of plastic components.
MAIN BODY Use a soft duster to dust off all surfaces. Clean the air filter and filter cover (fig.2.4, fig.2.5) using a vacuum cleaner on a regular basis (refer to 7.3.2.) Wipe all the parts with a soft damp (not wet) cloth dipped in mild soapy water. CAUTION: Ensure that water doesn’t get inside the unit. Use a dry cloth to thoroughly dry the unit before turning on. AIR INLET COVER AND INNER FILTER Unclip the air inlet cover. Vacuum clean the inner filter. Replace the inner filter if necessary by pulling up the clip on the top edge and easing the inner filter out. Vacuum clean the inner screen. Fit new filter (if necessary) and clip the air inlet cover back in place. WATER TANK WARNING! Unplug the unit from the mains supply before removing the water tank. When the unit will not be used for some time, empty the water from the water tank. Use mild soap and water to clean the water tank. Allow it to air dry or wipe dry using a soft cloth. Make sure the water tank is completely dry before storage. This helps prevent any mould or mildew inside the water tank. Empty the water in the ice blocks and dry out before storage. Make sure the filter, filter cover and water tank are replaced in position before switching on again.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
