Product Information: Glue Gun
The glue gun is a 120VAC / 60Hz / 40W tool that is used for
bonding materials using hot glue. The product comes with a set of
instructions, safety guidelines, and specifications that must be
followed for safe usage. The glue gun kit includes a slide hammer,
pull tabs, release agent, and a scraper for dent repair.
Important Safety Information
The following safety guidelines must be followed to prevent
serious injury:
- Keep the glue gun dry and avoid using it in the rain to prevent
electric shock. - Avoid skin contact with the tip and melted hot glue.
- Do not smoke, strike a match, or be near a spark when using or
opening the release agent. - Work in a well-ventilated area.
- Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and heavy-duty work gloves
during use. - Do not allow children to play with or near this tool.
- Use the product as intended only.
- Inspect before every use; do not use if parts are loose or
damaged. - Maintain product labels and nameplates. These carry important
safety information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor
Freight Tools for a replacement.
Product Usage Instructions: Dent Repair
Note: This kit will not repair all dents, regardless of size. It
will not work on aluminum surfaces.
- Insert the glue stick into the glue gun. Plug the glue gun into
a grounded 120VAC outlet. Allow it to warm up for ten to fifteen
minutes before use. Do not use crafting glue sticks. - Using a clean cloth (not included), clean the dent area with
release agent. - Choose a pull tab of the same size as the dent.
- Apply glue to the pull tab and quickly place it on the center
of the dent. Hold it there for ten seconds. - Wait two to three minutes for the glue to set before applying
the puller. - Place the slide hammer over the end of the pull tab. Slide it
backward and forward until the dent is raised. - Remove the slide hammer and pull tab. If necessary, spray
release agent around the pull tab to soften glue and use a scraper
to remove glue. - Clean the area thoroughly to remove release agent residue.

Lever Puller
Use on a small dent.
1. Place Lever Puller on the Pull Tab. Turn knob until both of the Puller’s feet are flat against the vehicle’s surface.
5. Clean area thoroughly to remove Release Agent residue.
2. Slowly squeeze the Lever Puller’s handles until there is a pop and the dent is raised. Stop when dent returns to normal surface level. Turn knob, if necessary, to increase pull.
3. Remove Lever Puller.
4. Remove Pull Tab. If necessary, spray Release Agent around Pull Tab to soften glue and use Scraper to remove glue.

Repairing High Spots
Use a hammer (sold separately) and Knockdown Tool or Shape Stick against raised spot until desired smoothness is reached.
Knockdown Tool
1. Hold the Knockdown Tool over raised area and lightly tap the hammer on the head of the tool to push the raised area down.
2. Change tip by unscrewing it from the tool and screwing in the other one.
