Frequently Asked Questions
It is possible to dim the display by pressing the “snooze” button. I do not know specifically how many settings there are, but it can be made quite dim.
Yes, it is digital and you can see the station’s number on the display.
if you want put the alarm to sleep (not snooze the alarm) when it is beeping, then you have to press the ON/OFF button. It’s in the middle button group. If you want to completely turn off the alarm (as in any future alarms), then press the button for the alarm that you want to turn off. then hold that button again for a couple of seconds. then press it again 1-2 times until the light for that alarm (either on the left side for 1, right side for 2) cycles/toggles and goes away. The alarms have 2 options: either the beep sound or radio. The light for those options need to turn off in order for the alarm to turn off completely.
Yes, this clock can be set for either 12hr or 24hr display.
You most definitely can turn each alarm off without unplugging. You just need to push either the AL1 or AL2 buttons on the top right side of the clock between “Buzzer”, “Music” or “Off’. You can tell which setting your on by looking at the icons on your screen. If you do not see a light beside any of the Alarm icons on either side of the screen, the alarm is off. If you see a light beside either, you alarm will be on for that specific setting (buzzer or music).
No. It plugs in and has batteries as a backup in case the power goes out or it comes unplugged accidentally.
No
No jacks of any type. Just basic AM/FM radio W/2 alarms.
It does not operate off of batteries if it loses AC power. However, if it loses AC power and has the batteries installed, then when the power comes back, the time and alarms will still be set. The settings won’t be lost.
Yes, it has a power cord. It’s about 5-6 ft long.
Is the alarm loud, cause that’s what I need?
I use the radio alarm; there is a sufficient volume control for me. I do not use the buzzer, so I don’t know about the volume of it.
This is a wonderful little radio that is good-looking and sits on my night table without taking up a lot of space. It has all of the functions one needs from a clock radio. Regarding the speakers, they are perfectly fine, especially since the radio is relatively close to my listening position. One could not expect speakers that would boom throughout a room from radio this side. I actually have a second one of these that I use up on a window shelf in another room to keep me company as I’m ironing. That sound projection is fine as well. This radio serves my needs perfectly.
By pressing the radio button it toggles from FM to AM and visa Versa.
the small button on the far right will raise the volume, and the button right next to it will lower the volume.
This is the worst alarm clock ever!!! The alarm is one ALL THE TIME! No way to turn it off. I only use it as a clock. It serves no other purpose!
It sounds like an alarm clock with an am/fm radio and just a wire in the back for an antenna and a small inexpensive speaker. It wakes you up, and has sound. It’s not a Bose or some expensive stereo. It’s a well-built, cheap little clock radio that you turn off as soon as it wakes you up. Do not buy this for it’s listening to quality. You will not like it. Spend the 200 plus for a better one if you want something with a bit of quality that you can listen to for more than 15 minutes while you wake up. Or. Get up and turn on your stereo like I do with 15-inch woofers and such. But. I spend 1200 apiece for those speakers alone.
Not sure what you mean. It can play music and display hour. You can set sleep timer up to 90 mins. Has alarm and settings for radio stations.
No. No problems with the times already set. You do have to remember to turn off if you don’t want it on any particular day.
