EMERSON B302 Yarway Bimetallic Steam Traps and Air Eliminator
INSTALLATION
Before installation, remave plastic covers placed on flanges or connection ends. The equipment has an arrow for Inlet/Dutlet designations. Be sure that it is installed in the appropriate direction. Install the steam trap at a pointw here the condensate tends to accumulate.A strainer can be installed upstream of the trap for additional protection.
MAINTENANCE
We recommend that the steam traps are serviced as necessary. Steam traps should be checked periodically lat least yearly. to verily that they are operating correctly and to clean the internal parts and strainer screen. When reassembling, make sure that all gasket faces are clean and atways use a new gasket. Tighten cover bolts uniformly ina diagonal sequence.

Before starung maintenance be sure that the equipment is not pressed prized ar hot. The equpment must be used within its pressure
and temperature umvts, otherwse/t mvght fat reler to namep late or documentavoni Do not remove the nameplate attached to the equpment. Sertal number and other useful farmaton re stamped on it.
Yarway B308 and B310 traps will be obsoleted on Dec 31st 2021. Items highlighted in yellow and their related information to be removed from this document.
